Not sure about the button but most cams with a g sensor will protect the the clip that the event happens on.

Pm me if you have any questions about wiring when you get a cam, it's seriously retarded simple.

The mini0805 says it has a battery and not capacitor. Is that going to be an issue/downfall? And will it hardwire OK?

Also, what's the easy explanation of battery vs capacitor benefits/drawbacks

Anybody have a dash cam on their scooter or motorcycle??
I have a scooter only goes 35 mph, but I was thinking about just replacing the mirror with a holder for my phone and recording my rides on my iPhone.

So, I just placed an order for the Mini 0805 that Shroomism linked me to.
I also purchased a hard wiring kit for it off Amazon, but for some reason it said it'll ship by November 4th or some shit...? :confused:

So, yay, I'm now a douchey 'cammer' :burke:

Old thread, but figured I'd update.

I ended up buying a mini 0805 several months ago.
It worked for 2 weeks and then took a shit.
After a maddening series of events to get my money back, I did.

I recently placed an order for an "A118C" with capacitor instead of battery.
It's scheduled to arrive tomorrow :smile:
