I shall definitely heed your advice. Every piece I've posted are newly produced. Id say it takes me anywhere between 4-8 hours per one.

Yea man, call around to owners of those places, or better yet just show up with samples. As someone else said, definitely look into having business cards made up, hell if you want to really sound like a boss pro buy one of those business card holders and a jewelry organizer like this



Just show up with a bunch of your pieces attached and tell them you'd like them to sell your jewelry, tell them what you're all about and that you do custom shit.

Also branch out a bit and do wilder stuff, people like to think you aren't a chinese kid pumping this stuff out. There was a woman at the farmers market in my hometown who had a stand and she did like fucking everything. It was all big pendant type things but she had dozens of different styles. Animals, big weird twisty stuff, antique looking shit, just mind boggling variety. The more you experiment the more people you appeal to

You know what makes that second one stand out OP? The use of "air" in the piece. A lot of your pieces feel...crunched? Not in an ugly way, just in a non-elegant way. The seventh-ninth one for instance, they feel so clunky. I think I'd really like to see you do pieces that are the same basic size but use wire like half the gauge you've got currently. I think the badass look of the metal and rough cut stones offsets the need to make it look too overly masculine

However, that is only a taste critique. As far as technique and overall design, super awesome stuff

I have always wanted to get into wrapping but never know where to start. I suppose i could just go to the craft store and drop 40$ on a bunch of gold/silver wire and give it a go on some of the amethyst I have around here



You don't even have spend that much if you just want to try it out.  $10 to $15 tops,  including tools if you start with stainless and copper.

To the novice wrappers out here the best guidance I can give you is practice. Try new things. 2-4-6 base wires. 18-20g. Weave wire 26g. Me and my colleagues were all self taught. I can give tips for certain things but overall practice, repetition and the drive to try new designs and patterns will get you where you need tonbe

I'd say stick with your online sales if you're doing ok. I have sold my stuff at festivals for years and rarely make more than 1-2 thousand during a weekend. I'm at the 22nd st gem show that's going on in Tucson right now and the first 4 days have been brutal. I mine my own gems, sell rough, make cabochons, set stones in silver, and I do also have a few really nice wire wraps a friend did for me. The wire wraps don't sell. People don't even ask prices on it all because the hippies have made it such a valueless craft. Anybody can trade a shiny stone and a nug for a nice wrap, and there are way too many people doing it. I'm not trying to shit on you or discourage you, but you gotta see the reality. Wire wraps are basically good for ice breaking and gifting etc, social shit. That's great but there are no wire wrappers at the gem shows making good money. Having said all that, your stuff does look good and I wish you the best, but I'd rather see that tourmaline slabbed and prong set into 4 or 5 different pieces, which could each bring you a few hundred.

I honestly haven't really been trying to avidly sell them considering it's a passion but right now since im hard on cash with spring break and vacation coming up - I'm probably going to start cutting huge discounts on all of my work. So if you see a piece - or 3 - hit me up. I'll cut you offers you can't refuse. i think i have 16 pendants and 2 rings available atm. My work is @energywoven on facebook or pm me and I shall send you pics of my inventory. Accept PayPal as payment - ship in US only 1-3 days priority mail with tracking.

My friend!! Thank you for your advice!! I honestly didn't like the idea of calling around to solicit but I finally got the wild hair up my ass and called the #1 headshop in my city. I've got an appointment Monday to go in and talk to their sales manager about possibly putting my product on their shelves. My dreams are coming true.

Thank you guys for your support. ️Sincerely, truly, 100% appreciated. Im just a young 22 year old kid with a dream. Regardless of the grim market, this opportunity has presented itself. It's a passion of mine. I'm in no desperation to sell my product albeit I know the majority of my productions are quality, durable, beautiful work. I'm hoping for the best come Monday guys. Two different appointments consecutively at two different locations for the #1 headshop in my city. I think I've got a total of 17 pendants and two rings constructed to present with what I believe to be my best work personally cased up to present on a professional level. If there are any other tips you guys could offer that'd be great.. Id love to walk out of these shops with a fistful of hundreds but I think that's a little unrealistic with 0% experience in sales or approaching purchasing managers. Can I get some pointers?
