Feedback On Jewelry Please

I'm starting to make new jewelry designs. Let me know what you all think of this piece as a pendant.

To me, personally, it's quite boring another not aesthetically pleasing at all. Sorry if that's rude but is just a black rock surrounded by thin metal strips.

It's a cool shape though

That's electric blue obsidian(flashes blue in light) with a 99.9 fine silver prong setting. The silver is a plate cut to the shape of the cab.

Thanks all even the haters! That one is a piece of Deer Creek fire agate. I do sell polished obsidian and crystals that I dig, but that's for a different thread(not allowed here). I just wanted to get a general feel for how people are liking my first pieces that I've set. I'm trying to get my mining claims for aquamarine going in Colorado, but I need a few helpers.

I'd almost consider paying one or two people to really get it moving at this point. I wanted to do straight across share of the gems this year, but my crew from last year didn't like that idea. Anyone pm me for more info.

I really liked the second one you posted. The first one wasn't 3 dimensional, it was just too simple. That second one is very unique and those bumps look awesome. I feel like the metal should be more shiny, but maybe it's just the glare in the pictures

I think another big problem with the first one is the sides look kind of sharp and too angular for that shape of crystal. Did you sand the back to make it flat? I would keep the crystal's natural shape at all times

The obsidian cabochon is shaped like that with a dome. The back of the cabochon is always made flat so they can be set.
