She's really a sweet girl, just a dumbass and a drug addict. Her brother found the watch on the beach like 2 years ago and never wore it so she thought it was just shit. I hope she fuckin learned something from this... I think she did.

So we went to the jewelry store. The owner said whatever he buys he sells after 15 days, but wouldn't let us see any of the watches.:rolleyes: I confronted him about how he lied to her and told her the diamonds were cubic zirconium and that the watch was silver. He said that he tested it and thats what it was, but her mom has papers and an appraisal on the watch sayin it's worth 2000. So my friend finally admitted to her mom what she did and hopefully they're able to do something.:shrug:

consult an attorney maybe just to cover your bases.

I mean, if this guy is some sort of professional jewlry appraiser, or he has some certification or licenses for assessing value of jewlery and precious metals (fyi I have no idea if these certs or licenses exist or are required by your state...)
then he clearly and intentionally screwed over your friend.
