So I went to my local Subaru dealership to test drive the new WRX. We get in the car and start driving. Car feels nice and sounds great. So the salesman tells me to take the ramp to get on the highway. So I do, but halfway up the onramp I change from 3rd to 2nd gear and slam my foot on the gas. The car rages forward and the engine screams, launching us onto the highway.
At this point the salesman complains and says I cant drive the car like that. I argue and say the reason I'm test driving this vehicle is to see what it's capable of. He shrugs it off.
Now we get off the highway and are parked at a red light. It's about to turn green so I rev it up and dump the clutch. Wheels spin and smoke goes everywhere. Salesman freaks out again so I slow down.
The final straw. About to take a right turn so I change down to second gear and tear into the corner. Salesman holds on for dear life and I tear up the road and the turbos blow off valve screams.
Salesman flips and orders me to pull over. Proceeds to tell me to get out of the car and tries to explain to me how I cannot do that with this vehicle. I tell him thats fucking stupid. We argue, I call him a dumb cunt and I get banned from the Subaru Dealership for life.
What a joke. How the fuck am I supposed to know what the car is capable of and how it handles and accelerates? Am I expected to just throw $40000 at you and hope that the car is everything I hoped for? Fuck that.
Get a fucking test drive model made for people like me who want to race, not just commute. I'd get a fucking Corolla if that was the case.
Fucking idiots. Was good times. Should have see his face when I dumped the clutch and spun the tires.

so glad i am not a car salesman. im not a fan of being the passenger in a vehicle, let alone one being driven crazy fast and shit. I dont like trusting my life to other people. Cant imagine how many people almost kill those guys by test driving those things to 100. hahah
but comes with the territory, and is one of the big reasons i dont sell cars

I got a pretty funny story about this.
My car needed im'd and tagged I thought it would take 5 minutes. I had a job interview at 1230. It's a good 7 miles to it dropped my car off at 1130 and started hoofin it.
I knew I wasn't going to make it on time half way through. But I happened to go by this used car dealer I bought a car from before. Said fuck it and asked if I could test drive this fast ass nice car.
Left my DL did my interview, got the job and they never said a word.

What made you think you could make it 7 miles in an hour without running and showing up all sweaty man. You needed twice as much time, a brisk walk for most people is ~3 MPH.
