Hell no. BF has kind of fallen off lately, but BF2 and the early days of BF3 it was still great. COD is filled with a bunch of kill counting children who don't know the first thing about team work. If you just wanna run around some tiny map firing bullets constantly and corner hopping to kill the camping noobs, then COD is for  you. If you want a game that requires some semblance of strategy and team work, BF wins hands down.

P.S. I'd totally destroy Rustifier in a jet.

does anyone remember when the bf that we know today was a bf1942 mod called desert combat

back when you could fly the jet way up in the air and jump out and you'd shit yourself on the way down

and you could still legit dolphin dive.

I started playing CS since beta. I played in CAL for many years. I stopped when source came out.

You're some source scrub that doesn't know what he's really talking about and didn't even know CS was around for years before steam even existed as the MP gaming client you know.

Pssh, ain't got shit on me in ARMA 3.  I'm a pretty dope chopper pilot myself.  I'll blast on some noobs with whatever gun is equipped since I can't remember which key switches the guns, then accidently eject because of the super awkward mouse wheel menu, breaking my legs when I land, then get heatshot by an AI with an AK 3 miles away.  Game over.

In BF2, there's no way you'd beat me in the chopper. You'd never even see me coming. I could and did legitimately shut the skies down in BF2. People would just give up on it and stay on the ground. You weren't even safe from dying if you bailed out because I'd circle around and still kill you. I spent way too much time in that game to not be good. :lol:

In BF3 and onwards it wasn't so easy to do that. Not when everyone can just load out with a stinger :mad: I was pissed about the state of the aerial warfare when I got BF3. They destroyed one of my favorite parts of the game. Everything was slanted way too heavily to ground warfare.

As for Desert Combat, I wasn't around for the 1942 version.. I did have 1942, but that was the earliest days of my PC gaming and I didn't really understand what the fuck I was supposed to do :rofl: I'd wind up way out in the middle of nowhere wondering where everyone was and thinking I was in an empty server. I did get BF2's version of it though. I loved that mod. A lot of the aspects that were introduced in the mod ended up molding BF3 and BF4.

pfft, I also stared playing ARMA 3 back when it was called Operatation Flaspoint back in 2001. Been on that realism gaming since then too bro.

Choppers in ARMA are boring and easy.

PVP in ARMA is kinda super boring too most of the time, but it's fucking AMAZING fun to get like 30 guys together and break into squad and hop on team speak and call your fireteam stuff like two - one actual and talk like you're some sf delta force ranger seal and wreck shop on AI and complete cool missions.
