Hello all,

I was wondering if anyone has had Ibogaine? I traveled to Ireland over 6 years ago and had Ibogaine treatment, let me tell you it really works! (I am clean from Smack and a handful of other medication, including Methadone) There were no withdraws and sleep/appetite was back more or less immediately (which anyone who has been through Heroin/Methadone withdraws, knows its unheard of) BUT, it kicks your ass! I am familiar with most of the psychedelics, but Ibogaine is intense, I was out for almost 5 days! (slow metabolism I believe) I suffer from a terrible memory, but I remember over 20 dreams I had that week, with detail...

I first heard it mentioned years ago in a documentary about Hunter S Thomson, he was spreading a rumor, that his political opponent, Mayor (I think) was addicted to this mind bending drug Ibogaine :smile:. I had to find out more...

If there is anyone here who's had it, do you remember your dreams? vividly?
What did you take from it? Did it work as intended?

In one of the dreams, I was so convinced that I was Vinny Jones's best mate, I proceeded to tell the poor taxi driver on the way back to the airport, that Vinny gave me all of his used Lamborghini's and super bikes, and that I had a garage full of them at home:crazy2:, I then got on the telephone and rang my mum to tell my girlfriend, that I had booked her and the kids (I have no kids) in a top hotel abroad, for a couple of weeks and to not worry about it, as I had put it on the Tiffanys account! LOL if only...

I cringe every time I think of that taxi driver!  :loldongs:

In ireland,how much did that cost? They do it in tijuana its at least 2k

Wow! But yeah, not too many Shroomerites have experience with ibogaine. I've always wanted to take it out of sheer curiosity. Too bad tabernanthe iboga roots are illegal in the states. Last I checked, they're legal in Canada. Ibogaine is definitely on my bucket list.

Yeah, about 2 grand (euro) plus flights (I missed two flights because I was so spaced out, how they let me on that flight still miffs me to this day) but that was 6 years ago, the place I stayed has stopped treatment, its still legal in ROI and the UK.

Its a once in a lifetime experience...
