New liquid culture tek
    #2268890 -

I dont know if this has ever been done but I came up with it on my own. I took straw water put it in a half pint jar about half way full with broken glass to break up the mycilium and then put a hole in the lid taped it up and and pc'ed for 30 minutes. The best part about the pc'ing part is it dont matter how long you pc since your not working with sugar it wont carmalize. After the jars where cooled I innoculated with creepers and two days later thier is so damn much mycilium in thier its unreal. Like 25% of the water is mycilium. Its better than any other liquid culture in my opinion. Has anyone else tried this if not I might be a pioneer to this tek

No Ive never heard anyone using straw water. But 2 days and its full of myc, sounds really fast. Are you sure its not cobweb? Thats the only draw back to using liquid that isnt clear...hard to tell what really is growing in it. I grew a damn nice jar of cobweb once. Went real fast like your describing. I may try the straw water to.

no its deffitilly mycilium. Its hard to take a pic cause the water is so dark. Tommarow I will transfer a syringe of this straw water to a karo jar just so you can see for yourself but im 90% sure its mycilium.

I innoculated from spores but they where old so they could have had a small amount of mycilium in it

"A human being is part of a whole, called by us the Universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings, as something separated from the rest--a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circles of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty."
