Okay man having been there and done that (staying fucked up) to escape shit -- in your case depression, and I'm sure you already know this, but the more you do it the worse off it's going to be down the road.

I used to get hammered daily, abuse benzos, and snort copious amounts of coke...and when I had finally decided that I needed to stop or I was going to end up in jail or dead, it was hellish, man. I mean really, really hellish.

Prolonging it and digging that hole deeper is only going to make things worse in the end, homey. Way worse. I'm not saying you gotta stop everything completely but getting ripped daily on all the shit you're partaking in never really ends well. I finally phased benzos and coke out of my life completely and cut the drinking back from 5-6 times a week to like 3 times a month. The quality of life improvement is pretty drastic, man.
