I'm just chillin, working.  my friend from back "home" is up visiting; she's out exploring one of the nearby lakes.

the last few days skiing have got me pretty stoked for snow.
climbing will always be #1, but fuck man.  skiing's rad.


applied for another job yesterday also.  it'd pay about double what I'm making now, and be a little more stable, so I'm really hoping that comes through.

word.  I can feel that. Other than my friend being over (which is rad, love her) and her cleaning my place up (score!), it's been pretty meh.

it's a regional sales rep for a big company in the outdoor industry.  right up my alley. I think i'd kill it/
I'd take the upper half of my state.  fat base salary (for me) + commission.
i trust it'll come through if it's supposed to. just hard not to sit here and think about it :shrug:

Yeah I'm in the same boat, Rust. Got laid off a few months back. Was with the company for nearly 8 years. Shit actually the entire company got laid off, lol. They went under and shut the shit down.

Been living off unemployment and that shit's about to dry up. I'm on pins & needles waiting for this one position in particular to open up -- an old employer of mine said that he'd be hitting me up soon for sure. Although you can never be certain I guess. Me and the dude go way back though so I'm somewhat optimistic.
