That sucks. :frown: Parting with a pet is never easy.

I actually have to get rid of one of my blood parrots soon. I'm going to take him back to the fish store. He's way too aggressive and harasses all the other fish in the tank. I actually had to put up a wall in the aquarium to keep him separated from everybody else.

Blessed be his soul.

Had to do the same thing 2 years ago, my old Golden Retriever.
Had him for 14years.
In his last days he could not walk without assistance, he was blind also.

Loved the fuck out of that dog. In his last days I would cook him french toast, eggs, he got thanksgiving dinner too.
I had to feed him with a spoon.

Love that old mothafucka. He was my Lawyer

Oh yay!

Poor thing, I wouldn't know what exactly to do in that situation either. My parents ended up putting down a dog because it bit me in the face when I was a baby -  my poor brother loved that dog but at some point it becomes a safety concern.

I just finished watching the movie "Big Daddy", saw it a few times years ago though. You know something funny? I saw it when I was tripping on 4-aco-DMT once as the most recent time I saw it, and I thought the court scene where "Sunny" goes on his little speech was like super inspirational, some real next level shit. Anyway, upon watching it sober I felt like it was pretty unrealistic, and not a particularly powerful speech. It had some humor behind it though, being a comedy movie and all. But yeah, just funny to think about the way we view things so differently in various states of mind I guess.
