Millet produces the most potent, highest yielding substrate gram to gram. You can expect 1:5 fruit/substrate ratio. read my growlog (Blowin up GT's on white millet). The tek I use in the log has had an incredible success rate. good luck.

I just tried cooking some millet and some brown rice. musta over cooked cause it all turned into a gooey mess didn't even bother attempting to load into jars.

Personally was very surprised at how much the millet expanded, had some success with popcorn and currently attempting birdseed but the only sure fire way I've found to get fruit is using the good ole pf tek brf jars. once colonized (bout 3 weeks usually) just crumble into substrate of choice.

Grain fed, well dried horse poo has by leaps and bounds been the best performer for me. oddly enough had nothing but contams using cow manure weird huh?
