I use to take 1-2g of piracetam a day with eggs for choline.
Other than that, I haven't taken anything in awhile.

Haven't ever heard of tumeric. Maybe in studying medicinal plants, but can't remember what its effects are. Could you describe what you get from it?

I recently started taking turmeric and quite frankly it makes me feel WEIRD. Like, I often feel quite "giddy", I don't feel capable of or interested in thinking in my head, but if someone asks me a question the words just come pouring out in a way they never did before, fluidly and on point. I am also a lot more interested in socializing. It also makes me feel- hot- for lack of a better word. Like, flushed, as if the temperature of my blood has increased. But not like I have a fever.
Now, I am also taking antidepressants. I feel like the turmeric may help me get off the antidepressants, and that once I am off of them I won't get the weird side effects. Who knows. For now, I have settled for opening the 500mg capsule and pouring out about 200mg of it and taking that. With the 200mg, I do not have the "hot" feeling, but I also don't feel quite so giddy.
I just have to wonder if that is what non depressed people feel like all the time. Surely not. Almost Nobody I meet seems that happy.

It's my favorite high other than dilaudid. I nod on the stuff for about 6 hours, get a great night's sleep, and wake up refreshed and anxiety free for the next few days. I have no tolerance build up after 6 months using at this rate and no withdrawals if I skip a day on my schedule. If I want to go out and dance or chat with people, it acts as a mood enhancer and anxiety reducer. It's like a really clean drunk. I used to love benzos and had severe problems with etizolam. With this I have no desire to redose and have never blacked out etc.

Pheibut is fucking dope.
I should go order some right now. I haven't had any in a long time. It's really awesome and makes you feel really good, especially the next day after.

Interesting. Sounds very similar to what I experience when I take a very high dose of Gabapentin. The Phenibut I have is unfortunately in the form of 500mg tablets which are complexed with a bunch of other herbs like chamomile and lemonbalm and valerian root and bunch of other crap that I don't know if I would feel comfortable taking 16 doses worth of.

haha that seems like a noteworthy benefit
Also; I think tumeric is a MAOI hence your effects?
And also;
probiotic dessicated beef liver bone collagen flaxseed oil omega3 Magnesium/calcium/zinc nightly (daily) occassional ltheanine and caffiene melatonin if I drink a lot of caffiene that day 3-10mg (occassional)
I basically eat little meat on my own due to factory farming being unethical/clogged colon/don't like cooking meat/I hate the smell. I am vegatarian but I take beef liver tablets and bone collagen so I get the healthiest part of the animal from humane sources with little constipation/all the things I dislike about meat.

no
My hypothesis is that by reducing inflammation in my brain turmeric increases the efficacy of the SNRI antidepressant I take.

All I know is my own experience. My bottle says take 3 500mg capsules per day. For me, there is no way. I cannot even take a full 500mg per day. I take at most 300mg by opening the capsule. But everyone is different. The first day or two taking Turmeric was somewhat uncomfortable for me. I felt very hot and flushed as the Turmeric actively reduced inflammation throughout my body. But after that it has been amazing. I just feel... zen... most of the time. I feel much more actively engaged in the present moment much of the time, and much more blissful- but soberly so, not artificially so, like as if I were on an opiate, or an amphetamine, or marijuana. Some people report little effect from Turmeric. My only guess is that these individuals did not suffer from inflammation problems to begin with and so had no effect to notice as a result of taking it.
