Saw this shit called "Matt's OG" at a dispensary in Vancouver. 34% THC  :jawdrop: Didn't get to smoke any of it, sadly :sad: Any of you heard of this? Smoked it?

For real. I mean goddamn even 17-21 % is too strong imo. Once we get used to weed being legal this obsession with strength will die. I think it's an immature reaction. If your weed is 10% you can take three hits and get more of the shit that helps you relax, CBD or whatever.

never heard of it till now, never had anything near that potent either, I never really trust what the dispensaries say anyway but man.. if they can get away with saying 34 thats some crazy shit. mainly for the novelty factor though

I picked up some "Alien Rock Candy" at a dispensary in steamboat springs a few weeks ago. It's supposedly the world record strain for high thc content at 34%. Didn't really get me any higher than other strains, but tasty for sure.

Good point. The most fun I ever had smoking weed was hanging out with friends and smoking schwag back in high school. It was fun giggle weed. Most of the pot today is high thc low cbd and it it not so fun and tends to cause panic attacks in everyone who is a new smoker. Good old schwag used to make everyone even smoking virgins happy, giggly, and hungry. CBD content is more important than thc imo.

That kind of stuff was mainly used for smoking doobies all day or rolling boonks or "dirty blunts" (if you're into that sort of thing, which I'm not.) Even a noob would have to smoke a full blunt to themselves to get high.

How do you guys smoke that shitty cheep weed? Lol, I literally can't even stand the taste. Like I will literally gag and can't smoke bad tasting weed. That's the biggest reason I like the high quality potent buds, because the taste is usually much much better than cheap commercial weed. Lol, I don't even like to buy weed that has been vacuum sealed. I'm super picky.

But yeah I prefer lower THC (15-20%) with a rich flavor profile and diverse profile of cannibanoids. I never considered the edgy, anxiety, and paranoia a result of too high of THC.

But you guys are right in that people new to smoking weed have an extremely hard time getting use to it. So many people I talk to that don't do it very much just get way too high, even from just taking a hit or two. Lol, maybe you guys are onto something with lower strength weed.

As long as it tastes amazing, I really don't give a fuck what strength it is – i'll vaporize anything that tastes good.

I don't really mind the taste of mids  :shrug: I like the taste of some high quality a lot better, but I do like having a fat sack of reggie around so I can roll blunt after blunt, joint after joint. I love smoking a bunch of bones without worrying about getting put on my ass or wasting money :ganja:

I've spent a lot of time trying to get into the inner circle with growers. Now that I have friends that grow professionally and get to explore more rare genetics it's really taken my love and appreciation for artisan quality buds up a notch. It's to the point now that if I can't get perfect quality bud that isn't commercially grown (like CO companies are doing it), then I'd rather just vape dabs exclusively. Nice thing about being in grower circles is the price is a lot cheaper than I use to pay, and quality is a much better. Like I get buds that are so fresh, literally fresh off the rack and cured damn near perfectly.
