You make a syringe out of the print by shaking the spores off the paper into some sterile water.

As their name suggests they don't take kindly to being incarcerated. Free the libs!
The only grow of libs that Iv'e seen seemed to look so unhappy it made me sad. :nonono:

I used to take prints onto foil and wash them off into a bowl which I would decant into 2L and 500ml bottles, so as I harvested a troop in the field I'd anoint the spot, as a sort homage or thanksgiving, and to replace some of the spores I was taking from the field.
Iv'e tried 'seeding' the green spaces around my estate with this spore water, but so far no luck.

TaekwonDude. Have you checked out the mushroom growing forum here. I'd be happy to send you a print if your interested.

Oh, and, eh  welcome and happy hunting.:mushroom2:

I have a liberty cap print. I was thinking about trying it out, but what I've read is that they are hard indoors.

Psilocybe semilanceata is the liberty cap.
Psilcybe cubensis is a "cube" and id bet a california gold cap is also a cube.

They are two different species in the same genus. California gold cap is a strain of cubensis, it would be written like this: Psilocybe cubensis var. 'California gold cap'.

Oh I see. Thats crazy huh. Just growing the shrooms from a print just like that.
Im not too sure about the cultivation forum, I think from what I have read that shrooms would be too complicated for me and especially going to all the bother of ordering the correct equipment (syringes and whatever else is needed).
If I had a bounty of money Im sure I would but atm money is scarce so I think Il just stick to HOPEFULLY getting outside to pick some.

To be honest Im not a real shroom fanatic like most of you here, I used to take a LOT of libs during the seasons 2,3,4 years ago each season without fail but decided not to last year due to a nagging girlfriend.  But lately I have been reading quite a bit about DMT, out of body experiences, so called 'life changing trips', Level 5 trips and religious use of halucinogens etc. which has made me want to experience something like this for myself! So the easiest way would be to pick a SHIT load of shrooms and well..ingest them? Anyway I plan on taking at least 150-200 fresh libs using this famous "lemon tek" method for my first trip of the season.  I want that other worldly experience in a specific setting, alone in the dark of my room with some type of music to hopefully influence my trip.

That seeding idea of yours is genius though and I have actually been trying to find out on Google whether or not this would work the past week! It would be gReat if it did.

Sorry about such a long post guys!!

Also I think Cubes look so much better, nicer and more appealling than liberty caps.  Anyone agree?

Its really not expensive.  I had a gift card for $50 and got pretty much everything I needed.

It is an investment of time.

It sounds very expensive at first, and that's what kept me away for a long time. But it ain't that bad.

I'm broke, and I could do it. Cost me, like, 30 bucks.

That's what you get for listening to the flying pink elephants, just nothing but bad direction .

Welcome OP.

No. Much as I love every aspect of cultivation, even collecting or being elbow deep in horse manure is ok by me, there is nothing quite like finding the first troop of libs of the season.

It reminds me of the innocence of childhood, when, at weddings and other such familly 'doos' the adults would from time to time throw handfulls of sweets or small change and shout "scramble". All the kids would run around excitedly trying to find the treasure.
There were allways a few shiny new sixpence's  (when a 'tanner' was worth something) in the collection and finding that was a grreat thrill.
Spotting my first lib of the season allways brings back that memory.

I bet this guy

knows what I'm talking of.

Happy hunting.

I actually got a message from someone telling me do it, my pink elephant days are over man... :frown: for now..

And yeah the trad musics the shit cant beat a bitta luke kelly/dubliners or the wolf tones.

As for Conor Mc, wouldnt waste my time watching him haha.  Aint too fond of that UFC/MMA tbh.

Dont really know why I had to post here either, its just a full blown discussion bout everything now lmao.

But yeah I know that feeling of finding your first libs of the season
just think by looks wise cubes look better to me.

You understand the Scotish Gaelic?

Love this woman. I don't know what she's singing about, something about having a drink.

The. "I plan on taking at least 150-200 fresh libs using this famous "lemon tek" method for my first trip of the season." don't quite fit with the "my pink elephant days are over man... :frown: for now.." statement

I think you can get to a stage where more mushrooms just add to the 'body load' and increase the chance of you having an uncomfortable feeling in the stomach while tripping.

Then again I keep my dosing to minimal medicinal levels these days. As few as 15 small fresh libs gives me a nice brightening of my internal and external reality for a couple of hours and fends off the SAD that tend to come in the gloom of mid winter.
