DMT is like apples.  Salvia is like really fucking scary apples.  DMT is definitely way more euphoric just becaue the physiological effects on your brain chemistry.

DMT seems more real than any other experience I've had so far.  :zoom:

And that's one of the things that frighten me. I'm not really prone to hallucinations or anything but Salvia wasn't just a mind or body high, it completely transported me to a new existence. I don't even want to call it hallucinating and don't count it as such, because it's just so beyond that. If DMT trumps salvia in that department, I can't imagine the mind fuck.

I always research drugs before I use them, and after doing my research on DMT I kinda scared myself off of ever using it. Based on other's reports, I don't think I'd fare too well. Sometimes I wish I was more impulsive.

Salvia ripped every cell in my body apart, I saw my existence and reality open like pages in a book then spirits told me that everything in my life was fake and a lie...

Like you're some character in a book penned by God knows who.  Like this entire place of existence is just some play or game and you're a character.  That salvia breakthrough is you finally realizing it.

DMT is a little more euphoric and easy to integrate for me personally.

I find it strange that a lot of people experience the same exact things during their trips with salvia. The ripping of the body, the pages in a book, the entities. It's a common theme that I have read many times in trip reports over the years. There must be some truth to it.

I kinda had the opposite experience my first time. Rather than being torn apart and told everything was a lie, I was built into a whole and shown the truth.

I was transported to a world where existence was just a cube. The cube contained everyone and everything, but we weren't all just separate entities. We were one. Far to the side on my level of existence was a door that was open, and it was messing with the symmetry which caused me great distress. I tried and tried to free myself to close the door but I wasn't a piece, I was just a section of a whole. I couldn't free myself because there was nothing to free. That experience has always stuck with me in vivid detail.

I've pondered over the meaning of the trip for 15+ years now. I see so many ways to interpret it that are actually relevant to my life and "me".

That's fascinating to read. I wish I would have had some experiences such as those, for salvia was always so painful and sinister feeling for me. I haven't done it in ten years.

If parralells the room of that third bardo that can be reached on ayahuasca analogs.  That "allness" room where perspective is omnidirectional and all encompassing like seeing with a 360° field of vision expanded in all directions at once.

Well it was painful and sinister. When I say it was causing me great distress for the door to be open, I mean GREAT distress. It felt like if I couldn't correct the situation very quickly that the world was going to end. But I was powerless to do anything at all about it.

That was the freeing aspect to me.  It was as if,"None of this has ever existed.  You may not even be real to begin with... Why be scared about it at this point.  At least you've figured it out.".  Very humbling.

It almost makes the think that our existence, our ego is the part that offsets the balance. It's what is causing the distress and break in unity. Only when we become one and end whatever this life is, things will be closer to the natural state in which unifies us all. I just remember trying to get back to 'me' was such a struggle, such a fight that it felt wrong.

I have the same kind of feeling, it was like something (whether it's some magical salvia god or my own subconscious) was trying to show me how beautiful and harmonious the world could be if we stopped finding arbitrary ways to separate ourselves into groups. At the same time it also showed me that there are always going to be those few who wish to upset that harmony and that from my position, there's nothing at all I can do about it.

I can see the door as both an obstruction and opportunity. Like if I could somehow transcend my place in the Universe, I could set things right, but until I do, everything will remain unbalanced.

Of course none of this came during or immediately after the trip. It's all a product of years of reflection on the trip. Trying to understand what I saw and why I saw it. It was my first real trip and just somehow felt so profound that I've never been able to let it go.

During and immediately after the trip I was just terrified.

salvia for sure. Datura is more like a dream than super mind fuckery.

Also i think people mistake odd physical sensations for pain on salvia.

I dunno, never had a scary experience on salvia,  but its sure something different.  My brother got some recently and was like "oh i remember why i don't do this.  I'm not afraid of anything but this terrifying".

Mine most definitely was pain. It took me a couple times to break through and even on the times where I didn't there was an intense pins and needles pricking sensation. The slightest feeling, especially clothes on my skin, was highly uncomfortable. And I would sweat, a lot.

All actors on God's stage..

I was a blade of grass that got run over by a lawnmower once, and had Jim Morrison hand me a bandanna...fell apart and got frightened I wouldn't ever be put back together.. met lots of the 'little people' that stay just outside your peripheral.. had reality "break" because the beings that constructed this world made a mistake...like someone accidentally knocking over a wall on a tv set when we're 'Live on the Air'.. lol, I fucking love Salvia and I think they like me too.. I always get the feeling I'm like the baby being played with.

I've had the seams of my reality torn though, that always hurts when your skin gets torn like paper.. mind fuckery when I was out of line.
It's a humbling experience to feel the universe and creator be pissed off at you.

I don't know what's the strangest, they all carry their own 'outlook/insight' and message..  I've yet to have DMT come and find me thus far in the game.  Maybe one day we'll meet..

Id probably say salvia. Have also heard rough reports from that 5-meo jungle spice DMT.

And that DOC stuff makes peoples limbs go gangrenous which seems like it would be no bueno as well

5-meo-dmt is awesome, i don't even understand how a 5-meo-dmt trip could go bad. My brother also recently got a bunch of that.  there is like, no possibility of thought. YOu don't see anything, you don't think anything.  It would have to be like, some intense primal terror for that to wrong.

i've read some scary stuff about people getting trapped in the void with a bad presence and all that , i think drugs like salvia and 5-meo dmt have the potential to be the most difficult experience just because of how fast they hit. its literally like a tsunami of tripping balls in a few seconds

It's not really in the onset time. It's just the literal mind fuck that happens. Once you hit bowl, it's all systems go: launch. Salvia peak is just fucking insane. I doubt being able to slowly climb to peak would make much difference. Once you're up there, you're up there.

Salvia never seems to get the respect it needs. 100% of the people I know who have tried it (including myself) all thought it was a gimmick before the first experience. Thinking that it's almost like it takes it personally and it bitch slaps you into an entirely different dimension.

Honestly my first time with salvia is what really taught me that drugs need to be respected and understood. They aren't play things. Some of them can really kick you in the face and give you one hell of a wake up call.

Salvia is typically dysphoric but a rare few find it euphoric.

I always got a very zig-zag, green/yellow, crunchy metal/glass vibe from it. Plus the gravity effects are fucked up.

I feel like it's the sort of drug a snake would enjoy :ancientaliens:

That's the best way I can describe it.
