keeping these people locked in cells isn't the answer but I can see the point of trying to keep them there.
By locking these men up and basicly keeping them untill we say so has created alot more bin ladens......
The part that troubles me is it's a fact theres people in our legal system who did nothing but are still serving time.
I guess the real question is How many of these people are actually guilty of what there there for. I'm sure if we asked them they would say they have done nothing. on the other hand if we ask the government there all guilty.
These men defended there country. If it was right or wrong depends on who your asking. It's just sad to see these men losing years of there life over something as stupid as this.
You get one life...maybe these men deserve what there getting...then again..... What would you do if your country (home) was attacked by a outside forse. Most everyone would defend there home land. I guess it's just the fact that war sucks and is worthless even if you win the ? is did you really win at all?
Our service men along with theres will carry the ghosts of the dead with them for the rest of there lives. I watched my father carry these ghosts from nam. Very sad it seems they come to you more the older you get. Even with Alzheimer's Disease the ghosts never let my father forget. Seeing the sadness in his eyes you could see what war does even when you forget everything else..

Hi! My name is Alex! I can't answer a very simple direct question! I don't actually have the capacity to hold my own opinions, I just hack away at others, derail threads, and generally distrupt the flow of things! Nice to meet you!

You realize of course that I was being facetious.
If there's a good chance that they will be joining in attacks against Americans then they should continue to be detained.

I do, you realise of course that i was not. If i had been locked up without a trial, in those conditions, the first thing I would do on being realised, is to hunt out and kill americans.

I guess we ought to just execute the stupid sand crackers then.
("Sand niggers" is, besides being pollitically incorrect, also scientifically inaccurate. Arabs are more closely related to caucasians than any other race, and are certainly more closely related to caucasians than to blacks. Therefore "sand crackers" is a more accurate term.)

Here's your own definition:

it's only a flame when you say a naughty word. I've learned it's perfectly acceptable to call someone cognitively defective, just don't call them a moron or a dootiehead cuz thats a big no no.

Someone should do a study into Alex's replies and see how many threads he marches into and has entirely off topic within 48 hours. I think that'd be interesting. I'd say at least three of the ones on the main pages.
Alex, why don't you ever answer a direct question? I don't mind that you disagree with me usually, but it's hard to argue a point if you refuse to make one, a monologue won't get you anywhere in a debate, it is a two sided issue. I think that we usally all extend you the courtesy of answering your (incredibly assinine, pointless, bias and slanderous) posts and questions, why don't you do the same for us?
