Metal in the Brown Rice Flour

Recently was grinding brown rice in the coffee grinder and part of the blade came off and continued to grind the part of the metal blade into tiny pieces. Mixed the brown rice with the rest of the brown rice flour in the bag. My question is, is it still okay to use this brow rice flour?

it'll rust when you mix it up with water and incubate it in warm temps with high humidity. There is a 50/50 chance it will or wont contam so i guess it depends on how sterile that blade was and how filtered your jars are gonna be.

Why would the metal contaminate it if it's going to be sterilized along with everything else in the jar?

Will the rust cause any potential harm to the mycelium or mushrooms?

i doubt metal is a good substrate for contams, id go ahead and use it

Should be fine.

Rust won't hurt anything and the metal will NOT contam, especially if it is sterilized along with the contents of the jars.

I say GO FOR IT!

Sould be fine. Lot's of folks grow using 1/2 pint jars with rusty injection holes with no problem...
