Cryonic suspension, would you do it and why?

Let's say you were offered the chance to go into a cryonic suspension and awaken at any point in the future. It's a one time offer, you can't come back later and decide to do it and you can't go back in it if you awake in the future and decide it isn't right for you. You'll only get 24 hours or so to make preparations. There will be no side effects, you won't dream and you won't feel every minute ticking by, as far as you're concerned you awake as soon as you fell asleep.

Would you choose to "go to the future"? What would be your designated wake point? Why that point?

I would. I want to know what the future holds. Not just of my lifetime but in general. I would probably give it 10,000 years. We've come a long way in 10,000 years and growth is growing exponentially. We've probably made more advancements in the last 500 years than the preceding 9,500.
