singer songwriters

Any recommendations?  I've gotten big into Nick Drake but he only has 3 albums.  There's something about his voice that is fucking amazing.  Very unique--kinda reminds me of Neil Young for some reason.  Anything like that?  Someone who is a boss at guitar would be a plus.  I'm familiar with the players- Young, Cash, etc.  A hidden gem would be a plus.
