Great Aunt is a Bitch

K, so my family decided to let my great aunt, (there aunt) move in when her son dumped her in a crappy nursing home and wouldn't have anything to do with her.
I was inishaly happy, because i don't think anybody should be treated like that.
mind you i hadn't ever met her before.
But this women is talkin major shit. The tension started when she decided to start badmouthing my dog who is my best friend and has lived here with the family for 8 years. Every time she gets the chance she talks shit to him and sticks him outside. I caught her telling another family member that she would rather he ran out into some traffic. so now i'm afraid to leave my dog alone in the house with her.
She dosen't say much to me, but when she does its always very rude. I came over one night and she was like "what are you doing here, you know you aren't supposed to be here" witch is bullshit.
I heard her in the other room telling her nurse about how she hides her medicine cuz she knows im gonna steel it.
I don't want any of her fucking constipation medicine or whatever the fuck she takes.

Now my aproach all along has been just to ignore her and be polite because shes old and senile. but she continues to act the same way towards me.
I am considering giving her a piece of my mind, but don't know if that is such a good idea.
any advice on the situation would be much apreciated

1 - i dont know why, but when in the corner of my eye your avatar looks like Ken from Street Fighter.

2 - you've got my total sympathy, dude. my grandmother is like that, but she also gives me shit about my appearance, competence, morals, tidiness, etc...luckily she doesnt speak english, though, so i cant understand half of the shit she talks.

i hate to say it, but the easiest way to cope: realize she'll be dead soon.

My dog barked to be let outside this morning and the bitch said "one of these days im gonna slit your throat" All i said was don't talk to my dog like that its not very nice. WTF! i need to quit bieng so polite, i just now heard her make another death threat against him from the other room. what the fuck is this womens problem?
My dog has never done anything to anybody. Never growled or bitten in anger.
I think i should start carrying around a tape recorder and getting the shit that shes saying on tape. then i can play it back to her in front of the rest of my family.
i bet that would shut her up

An old friend of mine had a grandmother like this. We put a pink cowboy hat on her head, told her her husband George (who had been dead ten years but- uh,- apparently still lived across the street) would be upset if she didn't shut up and let us hang out in the basement. She was always a stuckup bitch, telling my friend Matt he was a piece of shit and would end up in jail like his brother. She was such a mean old cunt. The four of us were gonna crash and trip one night, and we told her there were going to be fifty people in tents with fires down in the basement and the police said it was ok. She agreed, but then this kid Brian told her it was only us four and she freaked out.

It's funny, though, we smoked a 2.8g blunt (most you can fit in the cigars we get) and blew all our hits at her. Holy fuck was she baked!(his livingroom was small) She was laughing, she actually had an appetite, and she sat there laughing with us and making jokes. Being stoned took the senility(sp?) away from her and made her into a decent human being.

Sad thing is tho, his alcoholic father got drunk and pushed her down.. she broke her hip, something's fucked up now where she's feeding from a tube, and the end of the line is near. Jersey just did what everyone had been meaning to do for years. Words can't even describe how much of a witch this woman was.

i had the same exact problem..but alas mine is worse...my gma from my dads side is a complete ass hole...she talks shit to me in spanish because she knows i dont understand she tells me im to fucking white to be a mexican and that because i am not catholic im going to burn in hell and that my mother raised us to "prissy white" and that i should be ashamed to be mexican...
        Then theres my mothers mother..jesus...shes a crazy bitch...she always tells me im worthles..even though i go to school more then full time and work...SHE LIVES WITH US...and she has the odasity to tell me im a fuck up..and she talks shit about how i dress...and tells me i dress like " the fags in the castro" then theres HER sister...always talking shit about how im such a disrespectful child because i dont say no mam or yes sir..wtf..im not in the military..and im VERY polite to my mother and father..my mother is the sweetest person in the world...and my mothers mom also threatens to beat my dog..i caught her hitting her with a back scratcher for no reason..wtf dude..how are you going to hurt a little helpless animal...its weird how alot of old people give US the dirty looks..when there the cocks hurting small animals..iv come to the concluson that they are angry because there life sucked..they accomplished nothing..so they must take there anger out on us..wow i feel better now :smile:

Old people are just upset they didn't have the vast amount of opprotunities we do. Keep in mind though, they have been through many more wars and suffering than we have.

But all in all, I think the younger generations have their heads on straighter than their predecessors. We just go about it in a different way.

And yea, anyone hurting a defenseless animal for no reason no matter what age is a fucktard.

My Grandmother was the same way. She used to be a sweet lady, but as her dementia progressed, she got really mean, accusing me of all kinds of crazy stuff. Those last few years were hell, I must tell you, so I know how hard that can be.
