Just had a sexual harassment complaint filed against me

Long story short I work with this bitch. She's cute and flirty  so I get her number. We plan on going hiking. We start texting about relationships and I say that I'm a sexual person. She says she doesn't want to date. I say well I am cancelling the hike because I thought it was a date.
Next Monday I'm sitting in my bosses office and he's fucking foaming at the mouth. Saying I was sexually harassing her and he shows me a print out of the texts.
I say that might be inappropriate but how is that sexual harassment?
He just gets more pissed so I shut my mouth.
Be careful with women some of them are fucking cunts.
She put my career in jeopardy for no reason.

Yeah that's BS, I don't see how that's harassment either. When she said she wasn't interested you backed off. Kind of seems like she was trying to get back at you for cancelling.

no joke. Women can say damn near anything about you, and if its related to sexual misconduct, everybody will believe her. Ruins lives.

Thanks for the responses guys. I can't believe that she tried to pull that shit. Thank god I was playing it safe or else I might really be fucked. I guess the moral of the story is avoid saying anything that can be used against you over text.

I think it's dumb what she did but it's good she got that out of the way. idk, would you wanna be with someone who'd do something like that?

Anyway, she might have been interested. You should have went on the hike anyway. Just the fact that you said you're sexual and she still wanted to go means something. She might have said she's not interested because she wants a relationship but doesn't want you to think she's just a lay. :shrug:

Yeah it kind of sounds like she was trying to pull some kind of hard-to-get routine, then got pissed when it backfired.
