soccer isnt the most popular sport, its the most accessible

all you have to do is have a ball. even 3rd world countries can play soccer

they sure as hell cant afford hockey :lol:

lol nah I'm American with Italian heritage. I just find it a bit odd that the FBI, operating under the jurisdiction of the U.S. department of justice is gong after FIFA which is based out of Switzerland, but I mean its good that someone is going after them

didn't all this start with the construction collapse  for the upcoming world cup where they found everything unsafe and blatantly using the cheapest labor in despicable conditions basically equaling murder due to the nonchalance of "workers" being crushed under rubble. 

if so then that is just the beloved capitalism at work.

It's means there's more Gretzkys in soccer than there will ever be in hockey. It means there's a higher level of competition due to the accessibility, which in turn kind of makes it less accessible on a professional level.
