Then proceeded to tell me to leave her house. What did I do to deserve this? I said I was tired :lol:

The funniest part? I left at least 1-2000$ of musical equipment up at her house in an empty room I will have to come back for this week...

I had been staying up there just for the space since she had the extra room, and had been doing great about staying quite and not bothering her.

2 of my friends are renting a room from her for 700$ a month too, which is her only income besides some investments she might still be cashing in on.

I told her to take a look at herself before trying to tell me how to live, which did not feel good but it is true honestly. I may not have my shit together but she is not in a position to judge. Most of her money was inherited and has been blown over the years on tobacco beer and processed food, and her son's a heroin addiction... It is crazy how much some people project stuff onto others, she was trying to tell me how my problem is I don't work a steady job :lol: even though she has been living off of inherited $ as long as I can remember.

I was pretty damn stressed out earlier but now that I am away from her I am feeling much more calm. Another funny part is I have been slowly cleaing up parts of her house and planning out improvement projects such as landscaping and ways she could generate an income out of the house, as apposed to selling it like she wants too. It is a nice ass old house, in a prime location. But is super rundown and at maybe half its value, she could get maybe 300K for it, but if it was taken care of it would easily be a 500-600K house. So I have been trying to plan ways to get her an income to fix the house up, which she always turns into "fix up to sell for more $"... Glad I am not going to put effort into that after all.

also, you wanting to "improve her house" sounds like you're trying to convince her to leave you the house in a will

she isnt your age, and she probably likes it the way it is and isnt looking to invest in updating it

I am not directly related to her so I would not expect nor ask for the house. I will admit I like the idea of keeping it in our extended family as apposed to selling it though as she scored it as a sweet deal. But she has run it down over the years so I was hoping to find a way to help her fix it up. I have been very grateful about the room, me and my two friends living with her have been helping her out and cleaning up lots of stuff. She has literally let the house get covered in dust and dog shit/piss over the years:lol:

She isn't full on "lending" me the room either, I was originally going to use it for a couple days around the 29th, but since she never said anything or seemed to mind be being there I was not in any hurry to move all my equipment back out. Plus as I said I have been talking to her about trying to get some gardening going on there, she eats mainly processed crap so I have long wanted to try and get her some fresh healthy food.

She actually wants to invest in renovating it to sell or rent out but doesn't have a feasible way to do it. She has been harassing my mom to help her get an income to fix up the house but is pretty unwilling to do anything to make it happen and then blames my mom and talks shit about her behind her back around it... I know I sound selfish or whatever for not appreciating the space but I assure you she is the selfish one in the long run.

Like I have said too the house is very rundown and in need of renovation. The garage and at least one bedroom have roof leaks which have led to molding and as it is a very old house many things need to get completely re done. IE the whole electrical system of the house, roofing, walls, bathrooms, appliances, etc...

You guys need to really read through everything... I was at her house for maybe a week. During which all I did was play music and clean up the room I stayed in :lol:

Please read through everything, I have two friends whom are renting a room out from her.

Her last roommate was also a friend of mine :lol: and those were her last two incomes...

Really made me realize how much my grandma looks down on people, its weird what coming from a wealthy family does to some people.

I have 3 grandmas and I am sure they all "love" me to varying degrees though none of us fully get along due to family differences, etc.

I have been caring a lot more about family myself, not that I didn't before. It is hard with some older people though who have very set habits they won't change.

2/3 of my grandmas for instance drink diet soda and eat processed crap daily.

It is hard to tell people how to live their lives though :shrug:
