thanks for proving the point I've made many times. it doesnt matter how the cops
apprehend someone, all the cop haters are going to say it's the wrong way

Oh god, not this again.

Guys, just stop entertaining prisoner's incomprehensible views on police brutality.
It's what he wants, he enjoys it...just ignore his crap...It's that easy..

That's correct. His opinion is different than mine.
But we're not talking about something like gay and straight, or drug use vs no drug use.

Usually i'm super respectful and all that jazz.
But when an individual chooses to defend
a person who is clearly abusing their power...causing extreme injury to another...no..there's no room for respect/acceptance of opinion.

I wasn't trying to instigate anything, all I did was suggest people don't feed the fire.

This would have just been a funny post about a dude who stole a horse and made some cops pass out from chasing him. Instead every single cop who runs up to this guy starts kicking him in the head and groin. If I he look me officer had just taxed him and cuffed him, there would be no story.

You defending a group of professionals who are not supposed to kick people in the head during an arrest. This man did not reach for a weapon, he didn't resist. He laid on his belly with his arms out.

How do you even know he stole the horse? That is why we have trials. What if it's a mistake and he's not the thief? In. America th police do not get to punish people.

Cop culture. The attitude that is shared by police in this country.

Police make up .25% of the population and are responsible for 6% of the nations homicides. They are the most dangerous element in society and shouldnt be trusted or given the benefit of the doubt any more.

The cops were definitely wrong in this case, but since the suspect wasn't a minority who gives a shit.

Perhaps I was too rash, you didn't out rightly defend him.
Just with all your previous police posts, I jumped to conclusions.

But the man was down, surrendered. Didn't need to have his head kicked in.
And doesn't need to be called a "fuckwit" either. We know nothing about the preceding events. Except what we read/hear.

It most certainly makes a difference. I yearn for the day when I can embrace the police, and be glad for their presence.
Of course it makes a difference...

Today blacks are about 13 percent of the population and continue to be responsible for an inordinate amount of crime. Between 1976 and 2005 blacks committed more than half of all murders in the United States. The black arrest rate for most offenses — including robbery, aggravated assault and property crimes — is still typically two to three times their representation in the population.

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

What does race have to do with this discussion?

Police aren't a race.

Cops kill people at a rate 8 times higher than black people.
