this happened today

these where my freinds
ian, the person who was tazared (anywhere from 3-6 times depending who you ask) is my very good freind and now my house mate

this is super super sick and twisted

no charges were issued on the scene and no rights where read

this ralley was 100% peacful

every wittness there said that ian was not resisting arrest, not blocking the street. and not trying to fight the officers
he did however try to get up after being tazed, having his hair pulled. and his face slamed into the side walk.

the cops, of course have somthing very diffrent to say.

it was in no way a protest
it was a pesti/herbicide rally that was intended to spread awareness of the harm those things cause. no one was blocking traffic. no one was swing at officers.

people did however rush the cops. arms waving. telling them to "stop" "dont" "what are the charges"


and aperently one officer on a bike was laughing his ass off and sayed. "well i guess the charges are resisting arrest" what kind of world is this where you are tazered for resisting your own arrest due to the fact they have not told you why you are being arrested

Yeah I saw that in the video.

I know that 3 or 4 years back, we voted to get citizen oversight board to keep tabs on cops pulling this crap... but it sounds like it's just been in planning stages since then, I have no idea when it actually starts monitoring the cops.

it looks like they targeted certain individuals.

I'm so tired of police abusing their power for means of taking money and using forces to make people fear them while every one just looks away in order to live a comfortable life.

it didn't even look like there were enough people there for a violent protest. when these protest take place the organizers MUST always FILM the turn out. if not for laughs later, but for evidence of things like this happening.
if you know the organizers please tell them to film future protests in order to prevent the he said she said the beast(pigs) uses against us.

i hope every thing turns out better for the people who were victimized in this abuse of power.

Wow man im sorry.

This shit really needs to end, but im afraid nothing short of true martyrs will open the self blinding eyes of citizens.

Every time i hear of people being corralled by police, then charged with resisting, it really annoys me.

All i can think of is of an incident like Tienanmen Square. While not as dramatic, tazering innocent people for speaking within our rights, and being dragged away...appalling.

I just wish more than those present, or with a similar mind set could or would see the hippocracy and tirany we live under in this guise of 'freedom'.

I hope the best of all involved, and pray they will be ok. :mushroom2:

I tried to get a cop to taser me just for fun because I just wanted to see what it was like but he wouldn't do it, said he could get in trouble.

I am going to laugh my ass off when one of those cops tasers somebody and his buddy that they did not taser is packin a 500 magnum and shatters one of them pigs like a china vase.
When there is only a gallon milk jug of officer dickhead left ,they will think twice about fuckin up.
