the Bigger Picture

Was tempted to ask this in the philosophy etc forum, but choose here, because it is far more open to free approach to the talk of spirituality and flow of debate

I usually hate it when you bring op a subject on a forum--not just here, have met this many places--and you get told to 'keep on track' or 'don't disrail thread' etc---even though most subjects are all interconnected with other subjects---a BIGGER PICTURE? So that is why I titled that this so everyone can bring in any other things they thionk is relevant to the exploration of the mysterious reality we are all involved in. Doesn't mean I will agree, and I may challenge IF this thread gets any interest, and I accept that too
I just think that it is urgent people, including myself, begin waking up because things are very serious now on this little planet and we need complete freedom to question anything we feel the need to

most of are occupied by an evil, vile, greedy, sadistic war mongering mindset which use various forms of mind control on millions of us
A big part of the mindcontrol is to divide and control, and that includes dividing our heads from our bodies. Cutting us off from our sensuality and thus from our sensual and spiritual connection with others and nature and of course ourselves

This  mindcontrol has been going on for thousands of years in the patriarchy and continues. A BIG CLUE of its connection with the past is the continuing so-called war on drugs which includes war on psychedelics. they LOVE WAR--it is their middle name. It is their raison d'etra

Psychedelics when wisely used can undo the sensual and spiritual-blocking mind controls. SUDDENLY we feel connected, yet still some will fight it, and especially when they 'come down'--the oppressive prevailing mindcontrol will grab their attention once again. it encloses them, and they will interpret psychedelic experience within the confines of their mindset

Many of us seems quite content with the current state of affairs we've been spoon fed, lots of people ignore what's going on in the world and as long as they can get drunk, go shopping, eat a burger, have sex, reproduce, then they're happy, or at least they think they are

To instigate an awakening in someone they have to see there's much more to life and then seek the truth, psychedelics can be great for that, but like you say they may just go back to the same old patterns out of habit, psychedelics have to be integrated into society to a much greater extent than just being a street drug for them to fulfill their potential, simply because most people don't trust street drugs

As long as you/we focus on the bigger picture then that will affect everyone around us, if we hear someone blindly believing the news and they ask your opinion, be honest and tell them what you think, i also let everyone i have regular contact with know about my psychedelic use

Depends on why you're discussing. When you zoom out, details inevitability get lost. If you're trying to drive to a point in your city you wouldn't use a world map.

Yeah, I was talking about thins kind of thing with a guy who is into permaculture, and he said how hard ot can be to try and show people into agriculture how against nature all of that is. He said they resist very much, and liked my idea about psychedelic microdoses. BUT the snag is--as I said to him also--usually people into monoculture will also buy the propaganda against psychedelics, and so to convince them that their views may be rigid and that even a small amount of psychedelics could make their 'wall' more porous could be also met with resistance, and/or a return to the rigid worldview when back to 'normal'

So a question then--what is difference between someone into permaculture and someone into agriculture? The latter has a MASSIVE system of oppression supporting them which goes into peoples lands and fucks them up. This is what has been happening for a long long time, reason being there is a split in the psyche. As said in OP--the head is cut off from the body

So the the looking into the bigger picture is the asking questions why that is, and why that has happened, and what can be done to resolve it?

Don't details get lost when you zoom in too? You could for example zoom into an island and miss the huge ocean surrounding it

One interesting thought about zooming is that if you look at a telephone wire from a distance, it looks one dimensional - as you get closer, you see ants moving across it, but it still looks fairly one dimensional.  Once you get quite closer, however, you see they are crawling all around it, up, down, and along it in different directions - then you see there are three dimensions. . this is a thought-experiment for an understanding of an extra dimension that is everywhere.

They do, which is why it depends on the context of discussion.

So we see that zooming out can both lost detail but also show things in a larger context and zooming in can also do the same, lose the larger context --like the ocean around the island (even letting us know it IS an island), yet we get to see greater detail, and as the physicists have done zooming even submicroscopic there are deeper and deeper wonders, as on a 'larger' scale zooming out ala Hubble Deep field style we get to wonder at the unimaginable vast seeming infinite universe!

So there is therefore value in not trying to force either zooming in or zooming out. I am not against specialized discussion. I did mention though that I had experienced more than once in various discussion websites, and FB pages etc often people being disturbed if you seem to 'derail' their chosen subject, or mention subjects they class as wrong and dangerous. And I often feel this is a form of mind control to KEEP subjects apart so that a bigger picture and/or deeper picture cannot be fathomed.

I was banned from a person's FB page because I began including the subject of an occult elite in control of the power structures and how they communicate via numbers, wordplay, symbolism. I was told it would 'confuse [his] followers' and that I had no right to use his FB to say it. This is from a guy who claims to be a deeply radical activist, and does talks about the 'war on drugs' and etc. So there is a strong example of what I mean. being prevented from contributing to the exploration of a bigger picture.
