Wha Should I Tell them?
    #2141979 - 11/28/03 12:53 PM (13 years, 1 month ago)

Last night I had some xanax and I forgot what I did once I was done  playing a game.  My parents called me from work this morning and asked if I let the cats out last night because I didnt shut the door all the way and they were going in and out all night.  I don't remember doing this though . So, I told them I didnt remember doing it.  I dont know what to say???

i woke up in the middle of the night half awake and let the out?
sleep walking?

i don't know just dont want them too know I took more xanax than i should have

Eh, doesn't seem to be that much of a problem, as long as the cats are alright.

Personally, benzos (particularly, Diazepam) seem to affect my memory tremendously in relatively high doses. Perhaps you did let them out and simply forgot. If you are prescribed Xanax and have an open relationship with your parents, perhaps you should let them know you took too much, "on accident." I certainly don't condone lying, but the mentality of most parents simply doesn't allow any such drug use to be considered "safe," "okay," whatever.

I really see little need for support with this issue, though. Anyways, good luck.

I had 6mg.  I just told them I must have been sleep walking.  My sliding door has a chain and I guess it was open as far as it would go with the chain still on.  Also I unlocked my side door too?  At least they think I was sleep walking, for all I know I might have been

Damn 6 mg is a lot by my standards. I've been taking .25 mg pills (not very strong I know) and for a recreational dose I take about 8 of them, which is 2 mg not even half what you had. I'd have to take 24 of those to reach your dose. Maybe I'm sensitive to it or something. Anyways, glad to hear everything worked out with your parents.
