Tonight is beyond fucked up.  I'm driving home with cruise control 5mph over the limit in the slow lane when a shitton of bikers fly up on my ass, all on crotchrocket street bikes and they start fucking with me, I am having none of it so I hold my lane and nearly run one off the road, so they start attacking mmy vehicle, one breaks out my window so I flip a bitch, 180 degrees and one slams into my vehicle and i run his bike over (trying to run him over, but whatever),  turned off my headlights and ran a red light through traffic, the bikers flew after me but took a right at a a raod instead of following me through the light (I turned my lights off).

I called the police at that point and parked at a gas station, called my father too and had him come meet me and the police (I was freaked the fuck out).  Apparently the police have been trying to get these guys for awhile, they harass people constantly and drive wrecklessly.

My car is pretty much totalled and I'm feeling paranoid as fuck.  They also reported the accident but were cited as the cause as well as harassers, I wasn't given a ticket or anything, in fact the cop was really friendly (for once), I even overheard him talking to another officer "I wouldn't mind wrecking one of those guys, I'd have no problem with it." so apparently this isn't the first time these fuckers have harassed someone, but it's the first time someone used their truck as a battering ram against them probably. 

I still feel like i'm going to get my brians blown out.  I'm freaking the fuck out.  This guy's a mexican street biker, who knows if the guy's a gangbanging fucker (not to sound racist but seriously, this is Reno), I'm pretty worried because my name links to my parents address.

Should I upgrade from hunting weapons to actual house defense and get my CCW as well?

I am Freaked the fuck out man.  I have the dude's name but I have no clue if he's a threat.  I'm more worried for my parent's sake since my name links to their address.  As I mentioned I did call the police (I don't want me to go to jail for a hit and run when I was attacked, I just wasn't sticking around to get murdered).  The other person doesn't own the bike but was riding it....  They were cited for wreckless driving.  That's it... No pressing charges or anything, just a fucking wreckless driving.  I was told "be safe they won't mess with you." 
I need a fuckin' gun or something.

Wow that sucks man I'd get a shotgun to keep handy but I doubt they'd know where you live if you are sure no one followed you. Still fucking sucks, imagine trying to get there insurance :facepalm:

If you go the CCW route you need to be intimately familiar with when you're allowed to take deadly force. I'm not even sure of all the specifics myself, but I know it isn't just feeling threatened. A really big dude just walking up to you in a quick pace could make someone feel threatened, but that isn't a just cause for shooting them. So you need to be absolutely clear at which point you can pull the weapon and which you can't. Never pull the gun unless you're ready to pull the trigger right then and there.

As far as practicality goes, by gang of bikers I'm assuming you mean more than 2 or 3. In which case stopping and getting out of your car to make a stand would be a stupid thing to do. I'd of kept driving as well, and if they got more aggressive I'd probably run them off the road myself.

Though I wouldn't have stopped at a gas station. I'd of drove straight to a police station. It won't save you necessarily, but it buys critical response time if they choose to just keep following you. Call the cops ahead of time and tell them you're driving there and being pursued.

As far as retaliatory attacks go. Couldn't say that it wouldn't happen, although I kind of doubt it. Do whatever it takes to help you sleep at night, but this isn't the movies. As far as they're concerned, it's most likely over and done with.

I wouldn't pull a weapon out until it came to the point of being surrounded by a group of attackers who are literally bashing my windows out...  This isn't normal, but I don't ever want it to happen again.

Also I was hiding out in the back parking lot of a dark building w/ the rear faced forward to put in reverse and ram w/ my tail hitch if anything came my way, but when the cops didn't show up after 5 minuets I drove to the gas station down the block where they were at looking for me apparently. They took my statement and (for the first time ever) were not harassive of me, thank god because I had smoked a bowl prior to leaving my buddy's house, (hence the cruise control down the road in the damn slow lane, on a four lane road, they had all the room to pass me).

Thanks man, I'm going to probably have my car totalled by my insurance company- it's a 1998 pathfinder, 205,000 miles, and its left side probably has oh I don't know... 7-10,000 worth of damage, all the side panels, all the windows...  Fml.

They did fuck with the wrong person though... I am sure they thoguht they were going to surround me, push me off the road and beat me or something, they weren't expecting me to use my vehicle like a tank and just run shit over.  "Oh I just pulled a 180 and a biker nailed my car hardcore, and then I ran him over, fuckit, I'm alive and no one's killed me yet."

Hard to think about it that way, but I'm pissed, these guys were out to murder me.

And it most likely won't. Just some freak occurrence of you being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

I plan to get my CHL at some point in the near future.

I live pretty close to my uncle who has not only tried to kill me before but is probably the most unstable person in my entire family (and that really says something because I'm at the exact opposite end of the spectrum from stable). For years I've lived here expecting at any moment he's going to get drunk and decide then would be a good time to kick down my door and try to kill me again.

I recently bought a gun, and that fear just disappeared. With the layout of the house and where I am in the house 99% of the time there's no way he could ever get the drop on me. Knowing that if/when he decides to try something I can instantly get to my weapon and drop him before he can do anything, has helped my fear immensely. I simply don't live in fear anymore.

I can't tell you if buying a gun is a solution to the fear you have. All I can tell you is that it was the solution to mine. I honestly wish I had done it a long time ago.

If you do, make sure you know how to use it. Play with it (unloaded) until you understand exactly how it works. Get used to the safety, the magazine release, pulling the slide, pulling the trigger, go to a gun range and learn how it feels to actually shoot a gun (I had experience with that long before I bought mine). A gun does you no good if you can't use it without having to think how to.

yeah man that's weird the cops didn't do much about it, esp since they've gotten other reports like it. I doubt theyre serious enough to track you down tho

Not enough solid evidence, unless they had someone else around to confirm that they attacked me, it's my word against theirs, all they could do was cite them.  The officer did offer to pass by the house on occasion during the week if we wanted.  I only smoke weed and haven't been doing anything else for awhile now, since I moved back in w/ the parents for college....  Meh.

If I didn't live with the parents again (at 29 yay), I'd be less paranoid.  Attack me in my house motherfuckers, but don't attack me in my parents (basically is my thought).

I ran his bike over most likely.  It sounded like he is alive and the report said he retained his vehicle, I probablyi ran his wheel over, BUT he slammed into the side of my car pretty hard.


My vehicle's probably going to get totalled.  :sad:

I dont know about nevada, but in texas you can only get away with terrorizing people in their cars so many times before you learn DOT helmets aren't bullet proof.  Im sorry you had to go thru this shit
