Photos of Cyans from DH and MJ's Yesterdays Hunt

Here are a few images of some of the P. cyanescens DH and I observed while bush hunting in Seattle.





Observe the slight greenish tinge around the outer margin of the cap where you can see the lines of the gill plates showing shrough the edge of the cap.



The image posted below is of some caps which became blue from much rain and extreme cold. You can see how the aging process works here. Soon they wilt and become wet and soggy.

However, at this stage they are still quite potent since the stems were solid. Some of the caps were weak.

Simply incredible Psilocybe finds, the both of you.

Those are some serious Shrooms you be pickin', too potent for me to even look at :cool:.

And that last close-up of the baby-cluster is one of the better cyan pictures ive seen from this year.
