Different culture, different priorities.  My Jewish friends that aren't well off kind of get shunned away from their families. I don't know if its like that for others, but amongst the people I know its that way.  Having a good job, making good money is viewed as a higher priority than just being happy.  Being less superficial about who you marry, weighing them as a person instead of just their looks is a better way to improve your genetics.  I have a lot of respect for the Jews as a culture.  I don't think how much money someone has is in an indicator of how successful they are.  Most scientists or doctors aren't even millionaires.

The Jews also have these Orthodox whackjob cults like in Kiryas Joel and the Satmars.  They aren't generally rich.  The OP is right that the secular Jews are the ones most likely to get rich.

I took an American History class at a traditionally black community college and I can assure you some still are. I'll never forget that shit. Professor one day, "Are the Spanish White? Some say yes...some say no...but I will tell you this! They were a part of the Spanish Inquisition!" And I was the only one with the balls to say, "So, you're saying that in order to be White you have to torture people?" Someone yelled "yeah!" from the back of the class and the teacher just smiled and said (something like), "Well, that's not for this classroom but there are people studying that question at higher levels of education." This same guy was saying that the Indians and Africans never kept slaves, which I again questioned, and he said they were more like family members when it happened. I guess the Egyptians were White then, the pyramids weren't built by 'family.' :lol:

And this guy taught African American Studies.
I can only imagine what that class was like...

Not all professors are qualified to hold the positions that they do. Your dude is a clear example of that. Yes, black people who subscribe to those opinions exist, but again, their frustration is misplaced. They're upset with the wrong white people, for the most part.

Lol, most common white Americans don't do anything individually to oppress us. A lot of them irritate the crap out of me with various micro-aggressions, not thinking things through before speaking, and just straight up being ignorant, but I don't genuinely feel threatened by them or believe that they personally owe me anything.

I've got bigger, more influential white fish to fry / be pissed at. :lol:
