If you're talking about the remake, no.

I liked the 1990 remake of NOTLD. The effects were soo much better.
The acting was better, everything was better. That's just my opinion.
But it's a fact as well.  :nerd:

Same with 2004's Dawn of the Dead. I mean, c'mon, those originals are just cheese n' shlock.
Although, Day of the Dead had that great scene where Ken Foree(?) gets all philosophical
about the reanimation of corpses as they sit around drinking wine or something...
That part was decent. For a horror movie.:uhoh:

And it had a cool soundtrack as well:

I wonder if the Poltergeist remake will have them smoking pot in the bedroom as the kids play downstairs?

Somehow I doubt it. Still looks cool.
Even without Craig T Nelson as the dad.

I liked dawn of the dead made in 2004 too. NOTLD was the first horror movie i ever saw and the first of a genre so it holds a special place with me. I can honestly say i have not seen any made after 1978 so i cant have an opinion about those.

How are you going to say it's "way better than the first", and then admit to never having seen the original?
