Amazing Jazz Fusion Group (Dimension)
    #21220414 -

I came across this group randomly earlier, they are a Japan based Jazz fusion group called Dimension, and they put out some amazing impressive stuff. Such nice fusion, and they have 25 albums already, I have not heard a bad song yet. Here is one of my favorites so far, it is called "Our Inspiration"

Enjoy, such a beautiful song.

--------------------
Don't worry about me, I've got all that I need. And I'm singing my song to the sky

You know how it feels, With the breeze of the sun in your eyes. Not minding that time's passing by

I've got all and more, My smile, just as before. Is all that I carry with me

I talk to myself, I need nobody else. I'm lost and I'm mine, yes I'm free

Well they are mainly a trio, with a drum n bass backer from what I gather. So some songs are pretty sax oriented and others are more guitar or keys. I think they all have a solid blend of it all though.

Here is one of my favorites I have come across:
Its pretty guitar and sax oriented

Are you gonna win?

Thats weird that link doesn't work, the url worked fine to get back to the video.

By the way, I see you are in the PNW.  If you dig jazz fusion, Herbie Hancock and friggin Chick Corea are going to be at The Paramount March 14.

I'll be there!

Akira Onazuka is the keyboard player.  He also played with Greg Howe, Dennis Chambers, and Tetsuo Sakurai--the best fucking bass player on this planet--with gentle hearts....

Oh and Dennis Chambers is arguably the best drummer on the planet....

I do live within a couple hours of portland so I may have to look into that. I am trying to save money though so I have not been going out to concerts at all lately. Thought there is a solid amount of tempting ones coming up, in my town alone. I just missed Particle the other night which is a pretty interesting synth driven fusion band. Lots of mice bluegrass coming up too. Thanks for the heads up though man, I will definitely look into it.

And I will check that song out when I get back from walking my dog in a little.

There we go, that's more like it.  Spyro Gyra, never heard of them before.  The bass is awesome!!!!!!!!  There ain't much for bass in Dimension, I can't really get crazy into it.  I gotta have funky bass.  Weather Report, Jaco Pastorius style bass.

Possibly the fact there are no lyrics to your"songs" helps.

Here's a random song from my favourites>

This is a song. How can I tell it's a song?
It's got fucking lyrics. Sing along.

DAVID BOWIE LYRICS
"Lady Grinning Soul"

She'll come, she'll go.
She'll lay belief on you
Skin sweet with musky oil
The lady from another grinning soul

Cologne she'll wear. Silver and Americard
She'll drive a beetle car
And beat you down at cool Canasta

And when the clothes are strewn
don't be afraid of the room
Touch the fullness of her breast.
Feel the love of her caress
She will be your living end

She'll come, she'll go.
She'll lay belief on you
But she won't stake her life on you
How can life become
her point of view

And when the clothes are strewn
don't be afraid of the room
Touch the fullness of her breast.
Feel the love of her caress
She will be your living end [repeat]

--------------------
whether low pressure sucks or high pressure blows...
it's a bugger to cycle in.

even though I'm feeling good
Something tells me I'd better activate my prayer capsule

Love David Bowie.

But whats with the slap at music with no lyrics lol.... haha

I remember this guy in high school, he asked me what I was listening to on my walkman.  I said pantera.  He said, never heard of em, must be a band haha(he listened to rap).  Dude was a complete dumbass.  You're comment reminded me of him big time.
