Who else on here loves Anchovies on their Za?  A good topping and it goes great with a beer, am I right?!!!??

I'd probably like them but I've only seen them in the can and they looked fucking like some fear factor shit so I've never tried em. I like almost everything weird..

What they taste like..besides fishy

Never understood why they got such a bad rap. I love anchovies. No one else does though so i rarely get to enjoy them... quite a shame. It's good though, if you don't want to share your pizza, just put anchovies on em. If you don't want to share your wings, get suicide.

As a topping (in most places) it's the most expensive for a reason.

They taste very salty and they come in Olive oil and a few other sauces, like sardines do. Its that Umami taste, that many of us crave.

I've only ever had them in olive oil, then put them on pizza. There is only one pizza place out of a like 5 restaurants that have them available as a topping. A few said if i come in with them they would put it on, but they don't carry it since hardly anyone orders them.

I would definitely like them. I'm going to try them next time around. I'm not gonna force anyone to throw them on a pizza if we sharing but I've seen my dad snack em down out the can.

I eat em out of the can, same with marinated muscles and smoked kippers. All go on pizza also :smile: Muscles, anchovies, banana, pineapple and ham on a pizza :borat:

My dad eats these dried salted fish jerky strait out of the pack - disgusting ;p

Sushi gets a similar rep, albeit its raw. People fear the unknown and pungent i suppose lol. 

Damn while designing this post my mouth has been salivating looking at pics of pizza with the divine anchovy. :seriousthumbsup:

Sushi is more appealing then salted canned fish. Both are observed as is and not much you can change until someone tries em. I can't even count how many of my friends who have vowed to never eat the raw gook food (sushi) to only fuckin love it..

I seen this awesome kickstarter idea where they made there own canning jar/fermenting all in one. You should go on kickstarter to try to find that an buy it. 

Only reason why i didn't contribute to the idea and buy one, because cash was and still is tight for me right meow.

Wouldn't mind trying them. Can someone describe the taste or compare it to something seafood related?

I love seafood. All the weird stuff too. Eal, octopus, Sushi, sardines, caviar etc. shit that a lot of people would be like "dude that shit looks fuckin gross brah, you cray"
