Just remove them individually as the veil breaks, but often they grow in clumps so you really have to remove the whole clump. In that case just wait a little longer once the first veil breaks to give the smaller shrooms a chance to grow a bit more, but not so long that it dumps spores all over everything.

I just checked Canadian tire, they dont have it either.. but what about the aborts thing? and what should I do after this flush? Is it smart to case it after the first flush or two and maybe I'll get some more shrooms?

A food dehydrator is not necessary. Just leave the mushrooms near a fan or follow the methods in the find or grow section for drying. You can eat them wet too. . Regarding aborts; you have to pay attention to the cakes. Watch where mushrooms form on the cake. If any seem to stop growing (usually to favor another mushroom) they can be picked. Case freshly colonised cakes, not used ones- rice is cheap! Some people do get results though..

Dont I have to use dessicant? it sounds like a pain in the ass making a dessicant chamber,, not sure how it will all stay up. Should I just fan dry them if they are going to be consumed within a month or so?Oh also.. If shrooms are growing in an aquarium, using cakes, and I birthed them as soon as they were 100% covered, and they have been there for a week, should the pinds just be starting to grow, or should there be a lot of shrooms growing, because it seems like there are a few big shrooms already full grown, and most others are small aborts, or growing very slowly.. Im using a perlite humidification, at 2 inches, 1 inch of water, and sarran wrap for a top.. I fan it once every 15 hours or so.. Im worried that Im only going to get about 8 full grown shrooms from 8 cakes I have. is that normal? SHould I just case next time instead.. is it a lot betteR? thanks for yer help ppl..
