*Harvest* Dehydrator Mods.

I recently came across a dehydrator for free. It has tons of trays and holding room. I have used it on some cactus but the problem is it gets hot. A buddy wants to borrow it to dry out some mush but the heat would be a problem.

Any advice on how to dismantle the heating unit???

Be sure to unplug it before messing inside. Common sense but you never know around here

I took it apart and inside there is a coil that looks like it is the heating element. should i just cut that or what?

Yes, simply cut either one of the wires that goes to the "coil" and reasemble the case.
