another simple(?) PC question lol

ok, i know it can be done.....  but lets say you have a new lady friend spending the weekend  :heartpump:  BUT you will need to leave her ALONE at your place while you work...  and you want to hide say letters, pics, files on questionable subjects on your pc....  how do you do this.. i have done it before but couldnt find them again,  helpppppp  and hurry,    the weekends coming

Make a new folder and name it something that isnt obvious.
Copy your files into it.
Make the folder hidden.
Put that folder in a non-obvious place. (c:\windows; c:\windows\system; c:\windows\system32; etc)
Turn off show hidden files or folders.

I guess which way to go would depend on if his girl knows much about computers.

i did this before, but how do i find the folder when needed?

Turn on "show hidden files and folders".

In XP....
From Windows Explorer... Tools, Folder Options, View, select "Show hidden files and folders".

just burry it somewhere like C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\ETC\

In XP just turn on the guest account and put material in your docs folder. BTW.
