non skilled/semi skilled oddjobs one could do to make $$$??
    #20740016 -

what are some jobs that you could offer your neighbor/home owners that could put :money: in your pocket??

I ll start

clean and drain fountains

what youll need:
pool brush(s)net, and stick
dust pan that has long handle
high pressure nozzle for hose($3)
good hose(s)
about $20 in chems($20 in chems will last over 20 jobs because fountains are generally smaller bodies of water)
muratic acid(optional and cheap)
submersebal pump($120 good for years)
extension cord

smaller fountains

$65-$125 a fountain

hour and half work

big fountain

$125-$300

2/2 1/2 hours work

If you have a buffer and a wool pad you can spend 5 minutes applying a cream onto car headlights to get the "foginess" out. Doesn't work on extremely foggy/damaged lights but works like a charm if they are just moderately foggy. It has crossed my mind to advertise this service for $20 or $30...Literally takes about 30 seconds per headlight...

Buffer = $65
Wool pad = under $10
Ultra-cut Compound Cream = $28

I've thought about doing that on craigslist.
what you really want is a 3" high speed DA 3m makes a kit for like 200 bucks that will bring the ugliest headlights to showroom condition

$300 for plasma? Around here it's $25 for the first donation, and $55 for the second I believe.

Mow yards. It's what me and my brother used to do for money. We'd mow yards all day and party all night. Not hard to make 1-200 a day. Of course things get a bit harder once you've went through everything in walking distance, this is assuming you don't put up ads (we didn't, just went door to door asking, plenty of people out there willing to pay 25 bucks to not have to cut their grass themselves).

Don't have to get fancy with a truck full of equipment, just a lawn mower and a gas can. Bring a weedeater if you feel like charging an extra 10-15.

Nothing appeals to me no one feels like me, I’m too busy being calm to disappear.
I’m in no shape to be alone contrary to the shit that you might hear.

Clean gutters.  Just got a flyer in my mailbox to do it for $65.  Will probably take this guy 30 min once he gets here.

I was thinking of having a lil service for people who can't afford to miss the "alarm clock" in the morning for his or her business or people with poor memory but no cell phone or tech knowledge i feel it would do well. I know many people that would pay for reminders. If you do to it might work in your area  then you can set your wages.

That's a lot of fucking work though. Plus all the products you need.. plus a DA polisher. Pressure washer if you are real serious.
I probably have over $150 just in products not counting the polisher. Granted the products lasts through many details.
I don't know about you.... but I do my all my own detailing. It takes me almost a full day (~7-8 hours) to do it by myself.
Vacuum/ thoroughly clean interior. Wash, Clay bar, Polish, Wax/sealant, Windows.. it's a full day's work for me.

I'm very meticulous though with my own car... I've noticed when I pay mobile people to do it, they usually don't do a very thorough/good job.
Unless I take it to a professional place.. but then they will charge like 150-200 for a full detail.

$50 wouldn't even be worth your time... unless you are doing a really quick shitty job.

It's a shitload of work/elbow grease though to do it right. I may pay someone to do it next time though, cause it's a pain.
I don't see how that can be all that profitable though, unless you have 2-3 people doing it who know what they are doing and are pretty fast and you can knock out a couple a day.

But it definitely takes some skill to do right. You don't want to fuck up someone's paint...

You could put up an ad on craigslist to help people move to their new house. Or drive people to the airport, or just be a personal driver for disabled people.
