Abre Brevemente =Preally now, the jars are looking good. What size jars are those, weird looking half pints? It is good that you seperate the *likely* comtaminated jar from the rest. Good job.

Are the jars sitting directly in water?? I've heard tell that doing that can cause problems with contams and such. Something about mold setting in. I kinda do it how your doing except, instead of placing the jars right in the water, put them in a tupper wear container, so the jars don't actually touch the water. Then make the "terrium" heater het the water to about 88, and that will keep it about 85-86 in the container. Here is a pic of my set up. http://www.geocities.com/pappakaps/incubator.jpg

the mycelium in that picture look beautiful, i use the same method, i let the jars sit the in water, no contam problems at this stage in the process, workman discripes a good method on this in house links http://www.sporeworks.com of inoculating jars and at the same time allowing the jars to bearth, his method is not for pf cakes but it works, using cotton balls as filter discs, dont need to take the tape off, he says inject the spore solution into the edge of the hole in the jar between lid and cotton ball because you cant easily get it through the middle, check it out work man is clever!
