Whats your ying and yang on aquarium heaters

#536593 - 01/31/02 02:59 AM (24 years, 8 months ago)

I want to use aquarium heaters for a source of heat. I also found that if I undid the jars a little I could get the moisture I need as well. I find it hard trying to hit 2 birds with one stone (heat plus moiture)...so I was wondering, whats the best way to get both? Perlite and airtight heaters? Or is there an easy way of getting both from the aquarium heaters?

When it comes
I'll know, I know
Just take my clothes and leave
And I'll be gone

Just put a heater in a jar of water and loosely cover it with foil. It will produce heat AND humidity.
