Some more beauteous evidence that these journalists are retards covering for Dem.

I googled this search

"joe biden shylock ny times"

This is what came up at the top of the page

http://freebeacon.com/culture/new-york-times-political-reporter-doesnt-know-what-a-shylock-is/

I didn't see anything in the Times about this and I read it every day.  If it was there it was buried.  If a Republican had said this there would have been a front page outrage and an editorial.

A 'Shylock?'  :lolsy:  Wasn't that the sterotypical jew businessman or banker in The Merchant of Venice?  Who said that?

Sounds like a Harry Reid 'He's a light skinned one with no negro dialect' type comment. :lolsy:

Exactly correct.  You are better educated than a NY Times political reporter who went to Yale

Follow the link.  You will pee

Quote:
Free speech is the fundamental right of every republic.  Without it, a republic cannot exist.

Limiting political speech for anyone is tyranny for everyone.

As I've said before...giving the government the power to control political speech is giving the government absolute control over the nation.  Your idea of somewhat limiting political speech is shortsighted and dangerous over the long term.

When you allow a government to decide which ideas can and can't be discussed, you have given your rational facilities up in exchange for that of someone else.

Everyone is granted political speech.  Government has no business deciding who can and cannot speak.

What an absolute crock of hypocritical bullshit. When students in California wanted exercise their first amendment rights and wear shirts with the AMERICAN flag on it, in AMERICAN schools, which are covered under the AMERICAN constitution, this lying hypocrite of an ambulance chaser agreed that the students should not be allowed to exercise their first amendment rights to free speech, as it could incite violence amongst the Hispanic students.

He was all for having a governmental institution restricting and blatantly violating the first amendment rights of Americans, but NOW he considers it an affront to all that is American, to democracy, and the republic its self. See limiting free speech for anyone, is TYRANNY for everyone, unless of course you are an American student, then he thinks it is appropriate for the government to decide. Hypocrite douchebag much? Oh yeah, its appropriate to violate your constitutional rights, as long as HE feels it is necessary, you know just keeping you safe.

I believe the dickhead negro for president attempts to use this same argument when he attempt to rationalize allowing warrant less wiretaps, stop and frisk, mass surveillance of American citizens, and allowing the TSA trailer trash to grab the crotches of children throughout the country. Don't you all feel secure now that we have hordes of fucking parasitical lawyers to keep us safe, you know I do.

Typical therian nonsense.  I never said they shouldn't be allowed to exercise their first amendment rights.  I said that the school should be allowed to take measures to keep the children safe.  In that case, they gave those children the options of changing their shirts or going home that day.  No one told them they couldn't wear a flag on their shirts.

I have a thought - if contributing money is considered free speech, then the biggest contributors get the loudest voice, so to speak.

I don't feel like this is how it supposed to be.

We politicians can do what we want, when we want to whoever we want, and we are getting big money for it. We make the law, we break the law, we are above the law. Try to stop us. We run this bitch. And we set the system up to where if you try to slow it down, you get eliminated. Fuck Off. I got a vacat in Indonesia via private jet (tax payer money) to attend a private meeting where my cocaine laced dick gets sucked by a little sex slave child and aint a dam thang you can or will do about it. Why? cause i got the money and power and the know how mother fuckr.

If you knew the power and games we play, oh man you would be beyond pissed.

But seriously, we politicians are very concerned with the peoples concerns and we are making every effort to correct the issues at hand using the resources and tools we have, rest assured we politicians are working hard the 3 months out of the year and the 3 days out of the week we have to pretend to care about your problems and not ours.

Pay your taxes, shut the hell up, and go to hell.

Whether you're standing on the steps of city hall holding a sign, or talking on a TV commercial, you're spending money to get your message out.

A citizen publicly demonstrating is a far cry from a mass-produced mass-broadcast mass-funded TV ad campaign, which cloaks itself in an emotional guise of impactful credibility and literally reaches millions of eyes and minds in a moment. How long's it gonna take the citizen with their placard?

One is speech. The other is raw power.

Michael Moore movies are political speech.  Capping political spending would end his career.  Are you okay with that?  Are you okay with censoring Bill Maher?  That's money spent on political speech.

In order to stop people from spending money on political speech, one would have to censor all news programs, almost all documentaries, many movies, tons of music, and lots of other things that I can't think of right now.

Pretty much the only entertainment left would be a few Disney movies and reruns of Seinfeld.

Huh? why?

Can't we just undo the law that was passed and go on like before?

All this new law does is let politicians to get an unlimited amount of money, and allow rich and powerful people to buy a politician.

Why not cap the amount, and let the best man win?

Why?
Why?
Why?

There is no "new law".  The law in question is the constitution...The first federal law ever...

As far as contributions, they're already capped.

I would like to talk to you in person, but i wont because i'm afraid of meeting people online.

There has to be a limit on how much a candidate can spend on their campaign.

I guess this is what im trying to convey, if an independent campaign maker wants to make a film or song or book or banner or commercial, or whatever, about a candidate then that's okay, but if at the end the candidate says i approve of this message, then the candidate must make sure that they don't endorse anything or combination of anything that goes above the campaign set dollar amount.

Let's be honest here - 90% of the money spent these days is bashing your opponents.

The message tends to get lost through the mudslinging
