Have you ever been knocked out/concussed?

I was, when I was like 8 or 9 years old, I tried to jump over a pile of gravel with my bike, I end up flipping backward because the hill was too steep. I don't remember falling at all. All I remember was getting back up again seeing red cause my eyes were filled with blood from my head. Some lady came running out of her house with a cloth... Then I felt sleepy for the next few hours but I was told no to fall asleep.

Its stupid cause I was at my babysitters house that day with another kid my age and a 4 years old. Me and the kid my age went on a bike ride, I had a helmet, he didn't, but we wanted to fuck with the 4 years old, so I gave to other 8 year old my helmet with the intent that it would be sufficient enough to fool the 4 year old kid (we were far-ish).... 2 minutes later, I tried jumping from that pile of gravel and the other kid had my helmet............

How bout you? Ever hit your head?

That's an intriguing etiology for your glaring mental deficiencies.

I've never been physically knocked unconscious, but had severe concussion easily ten times. Trying to stay awake like you're meant to after a heavy head blow is fucking horrible.

I got knocked out cold after bombing a hill on a toy car thing we found. It was so ridiculous and I was drunk. I got my friend to push me as fast as he could, it was a steep hill, the wheel came off and I pretty much front-flipped, smacking my head on the sidewalk.

One of the reasons I no longer drink :lol:

Nah, only like four or something were from fights. The rest of the time it was either getting hit by cars or pulling stupid shit on a bike in the manner you described. I should really be dead just from how many times I've been run over alone.

I was about 12 playing pickup football and went high for a pass.  Some kid completely undercut my legs when I was straight up and I landed square on  my head.  I think I was out for a few seconds.  Never did get dizzy or have headaches from it, though, and wasn't disoriented  so I don't know if I got a concussion.  It was just dark for a few seconds.  I played the next play and was fine.

One time me and 3 of my buddies got jumped by like 25 dudes in Jacksonville, FL.  I ended up getting hit in the head with a wrench and awoke in a bush.  Couldn't hear out of my ear for like 4 or 5 days.  Glad there was not more permanent injury.

I've been knocked out 7 times. Once was from being choked. Once was from falling into a hide away couch with my elbow. Another time I hit my knee on the desk in school. Another time was from catching a baseball with my chest. All the other times were from hitting my head.
      I've had one concussion but was not actually knocked out that time. I feel I have really sensitive nerves.
      I've also pasted out from smoking to many times to count. Not from to big of rips either because I used to be able to clear my 6fter. It has usually been the first few rips of a pipe. Never have figured out why.

twice, both as a kid


once i was like 5 years old, just moved into a new house in a brand new development, they planned on putting a streetlight right next to my house and all these fuckers did after they dug the hole, was put a fucking cardboard box on the hole, no sort of sign at all...so im playing catch with my grandpa and i miss the catch and when im grabbing the ball, i saw this piece of cardboard and was like yeah im gonna jump all over this shit, fuck yeah...and when i did, i fell right thru and ended up hitting my head on all the rocks sitting at the bottom of like a 5 foot hole...nice...knocked out and had a concussion...if the world was so PC then we probly coulda sued and won some money lol


then another time i was like 8 or 9 and on my bike going down my street which is a pretty big hill and i was putting my foot in the front spokes as i went down to make it sound like really cool, but then i guess i did it too much cuz my foot got caught and musta made me flip over my bike...i was KO'ed and my mom use to babysit and one of the fathers picking up their kids saw me just lying down in the street fucking sleeping with a bike next to me...he grabbed me and brought me back to my house...dont remember it really lol

I was knocked out twice as a kid. The first time I was about 9 and my cousin hit me in the head with a bat while I was on a swing. Uh-huh. Out of the blue it was. I fell off, blacked out for a few minutes. Big headache and a tender golf ball size knot on the back of my head. I recovered pretty fast as far as I can remember.

The other time happened when I was 13. This was a more serious injury. I was trotting on another relative's horse and the saddle cinch broke. I fell off along with the saddle I was hanging on to and bonked my head on a boulder. That experience was textbook. Literally saw trippy stars bursts, threw up a bunch of times and had a bad headache for days.

I also fell in the shower a couple years ago and cracked a rib. I passed out then, too, I think from the trauma of hitting my ribs on the side of the tub. Fark, that hurt. Now I always keep a rubber mat in the shower and have total awareness when I soap my feet. :laugh:

I once got jumped for my bike.  The guy who took it knocked me unconscious, and I remember coming to on the pavement and watching him and his gang ride off.

Same story as most here...
Bit shit going down a hill on my bike when I was in 6th grade. Woke up in an ambulance.
Half my face was scabbed because I slid on it about 10 feet. Was the same time Batman Forever came out with TJL as Two Face. Twas my nicknamefor a few weeks.
Doctor had to q tip the dirt out from around my eyeball. Gnarly shit.

tl;dr My older cousin (8 years older than me) strangled me until I passed out.

I'm guessing I was approximately 11 and he was 19. I said wrestling was fake...That "sleeper move" where a wrestler puts his arm around another wrestler's neck and the guy suddenly falls asleep...but first raises his hand once or twice (it falls down of course) was completely fake.

My cousin said it wasn't. He was going to prove it to me.

He told me to look forward, he went behind me, and he cut off my circulation. I immediately started flailing my arms to try to attack him (natural reflex, I had no control over this). Felt like about 3 seconds pass.

...Next thing you know I wake up from being on the floor.

It was rad!

When I was 19 I crashed my motorcycle. My memory comes back when Im laying in a field with medics standing over me. I was really confused and scared because I had no clue what happened or that I crashed. My dad said I called him and told him what happened but I dont remember that. I also ended up breaking my neck. My memory is completely missing from that point in time, a few minutes before the crash and however long it took the medics to get there.

I used to skate, bike, and play football and yeah that is the root of most of my blunders.

My first experience was when I was like 6 years old. Me and my brother were throwing re-bar at each other (i know wtf) and he hit me square in the head with a metal re-bar piece. Knocked me out for 4 seconds, got up and my head was gushing blood. Healed fine.

I've knocked myself out probably 3 times skating this massive bowl at my local skatepark. One time I ate shit and smacked my head after falling a good 6 feet on to straight concrete. The other time I hit a cigg and got wheel bite plowing my head into a concrete quarter pipe. I also used to race BMX and one time I ate shit over jumping a woopy dee woop and hit my head (had helmet but still)...

I've hit my head a lot. haha
