Calling all climbers, skiers, kyakers and outdoor enthusiasts

Hi everyone. I am trying to see if any shroomerites like to do things like climbing, skiing, kayaking or other outdoors activities.


I realized that the only thing I have in common with all of my friends is that we all like to get fucked up so I'm trying to make some new ones.

I like to, though I don't do those type of activities too frequently. I wish I hiked more this summer

Im in the same boat dude. I love all that stuff, but I haven't been doing it nearly enough. Instead I've been hanging out and getting fucked up with friends who are too lazy to do cool shit like that. Sometimes you gotta just go climb a mountain by yourself.

I climb a lot and backpack (when it involves alpine climbing :lol:)

Stoked on ski season coming up too. Hopefully the west coast gets some damn snow this year! :kingcrankey:

Go fishing at cool spots in my canoe almost every warm weekend, mix it in with very little camping.

we climbed this 84m high dam yesterday


we hadn't slept from a night before of eating acid and drinking heaps of booze, i'd eaten nothing but a banana milk shake in the morning and the others were all blazed as fuck but it was still awesome

I love to hike and have recently acquired a taste for wild mushroom hunting. Snowboarding is also y shit 8)

Hiking, Kayaking, Camping. Mostly just by myself; occasionally hike with someone else/others. I actually bought my kayak for a similar reason, a lot of my friends don't have much motivation for anything aside from work and getting stoned so I figured I'd just go and do things on my own. I enjoy it by myself. Though, there are times I'd like to have someone to kayak with but you'll find like minds if you do it enough.

Snowboarding is probably my favorite thing to do. I don't get to go very often due to where I live though.

I try to hike almost every weekend if I can, even locally if I can't leave town.  Nothing's better, it's so much fun.  Living in CA is cool with all the National Parks.

I've met some of my best buds through climbing. They're all chill people, and down to get a lil fucked up too- after we climb. Check around and see if there's a climbing gym around you, cool fit folks, and its a year round activity...

I have a membership to a climbing gym but I don't know how to approach people cause it seems like everyone is there with someone and I just go alone. What state do y'all live in? Maybe we could meet up.

Usually just places around my town, a wildlife preserve and a park nearby my house.  I live in the central valley, so I'm just a short drive from most places in CA...  So far, my favorite place is Pinnacles National Park.  It's off the 101 in Monterey County.  It's the remnants of a volcano, and it is a big place for rock climbers.  It is also one of the few places left with wild condor, and when you visit Pinnacles on a day when there's not too many people--wow--those condors took my breath away and left me in sentimental awe.

Have a local park that's ~5400 acres that I hike around a lot. Did about 20-30 miles a week during past summers, but I've been working a little more this summer and it's been quite humid. Starting to get toward fall though, so it's time to get back at it.
