Weird msgbox problem

A user PMed me via MsgBox and I responded, but due to the nature of the message, it was highly doubtful that she got the message, so then I sent her a traditional PM and this was her response: "I totally didn't, and I've been checking. Just this message and a 'Welcome' message in my box." So you might want to look into that. Her username is millajenn. Correspondence was in regard to an invite to a website, btw.

Users won't notice the MsgBox system unless they have it enabled in their settings.
I have it set as enabled for her now, so ask her to check again.
She should see the messages.

I don't use message box but perhaps an automated response "user does not have message box enabled" would be a good thing.

I now need to know with 100% certainty whether or not ever member to whom a MsgBox is sent will see the MsgBox notifier.

That's hard to say.
People turn it on when they're expecting to get a message.
Some people have it off because it's too much flashing for them.
Some people want the old-style messages exclusively, and never use the new Msgbox system.

If you want to talk to someone in particular, notify them with the old method to turn on their msgbox notifications.
