bluethumb's mystery package

does anyone know what this is?

i placed an $80 order with dr. bluethumbs long ago. i didn't get my reishi culture or any of the other stuff i ordered, but he did send this:



i can definitely smell some sawdust in it, but i don't know what else is in there.

my best guess is that it is supposed to be some kind of spawn enhancing additive.

any ideas?

i guess i'll have to experiment with it. i couldn't possibly just throw it away.

have you thought about asking the guy you bought it from?
it's probably sterile supplemented sawdust or something, but there's no way we can 'recognise' some brown dust.

try spawning some mycelium into it, see if it's hungry. may as well.

if i could get ahold of dr. bluethumbs/dimitri, i'd have better things to do than ask him what that stuff is.  :mad2:

he ripped off people here, then got busted for something and went to prison.


well, i worked up the nerve to taste it; it tastes pretty good. it actually tastes like home cooked cornbread. i think it is a mixture of sawdust and corn meal.

if the mushies don't like it, i may just bake it and eat it myself.    :crazy2:
