yin/yang

When you are loving, you will be loved. When you are respectful, you will be respected. When you are genuinely friendly, you will have genuine friends. When you are helpful, you will have plenty of assistance.
When you give freely, you will receive much. When you listen, you will be heard. When you teach, you will learn. When you trust, you will be trusted.
What you do, what you say, who you are, not only flows out from you at every moment. It also comes back to you accurately and without fail. The way the world unfolds for you depends on the way you choose to be.

Yin/yang or karma?

Whatever name it goes by, it is a fundamental fact of life.

If all humans were inherently good, this would be true. Sometimes you give and get nothing back. Sometimes you trust and you're not trusted back. Sometimes you listen and nobody wants to hear what you yourself have to say. Shit happens.

Just because you aren't aware of what you get back, doesn't mean that you don't get something back.

In a personal sense that may be true. What I give that's good may not come back to ME. But I maintain that in the end you get what you give. The books will be balanced one day.

I'm banking on it. We shall see..

there is no such thing as karma, only logic. If i treat people like shit, then people are not going to be nice to back to me. it's only logic, karma is a nice idea, fine to live by, but does not exist.

Wow. That's a pretty definative statement to make.
What makes you so sure it does not exist?

> there is no such thing as karma, only logic.

Dualistic logic dictates that karma must exist. Duality allows no less.

Law of physics: For every action there is an opposite and equal reaction. <== karma
