Sorry man, I'm just kind of scrambling you know. I'm not like "shook up", but it is definitely still weighing down on my mind that I'm gonna have to get continuous blood work done. I'm also going to see a good infectious disease doctor on Wednesday so I'm happy that I'll have the best care I can get.

Also I appreciate most of the responses here telling me that it was likely a drug and not a virus. Since I've only ever passed out once before in my life (and it was significantly different than this time), I can't be sure whether I was drugged or just had a vasovagal response. That's the annoying part :frown: I also am pretty good with drugs :lol: so that contributes to the difficulty of me determining what I was injected with, since I probably wouldn't feel as strong of an effect as someone who has never taken downers before.

I'm not the type to get spun and be crazy off my mind to hallucinate getting pricked. I guess I can't make you believe my story. Honestly though I hope I'm just freaking out, but my better judgement won't let me believe such ignorance of the facts.

But if you were me, you would have known it was an intentional prick too. We walked in and about ten minutes later, I feel this hand on my back and a sharp pain with it. When I turned around I made eye contact with the guy and he looked like he was avoiding it, I could just tell. You know when you can just stare at someone and understand what he did…sounds stupid but I could see through him. Scary experience, I thought I was dying when I passed out actually.

It was like I didn't have control of my limbs or bodily control, but I was still somewhat present minded. The way out of the venue is just a blur, but I DO distinctly remember the guard carrying me now that I think of it, so I guess I wasn't fully unconscious. More drifting in and out of blackness. Maybe it was a drug like roofies or some shit...

On the topic subject (asking if anyones experienced anything similar) I haven't heard of anything like this happening, however I have been to a show where one of my buddies got roofied. Got a pee test and everything. We think they were probably dosing people with roofies trying to rob them or something, honestly we have no idea why anyone would do it in an open venue like that, but they did. I found him at the front of a stage, and then just saw him drop to the ground hard. Went in, picked him up and drug him out of the crowd. He was mostly unresponsive, so we called the ambulance. Sure enough, he got roofied.

So I have a question. Why didn't you say anything to the guy if he was right on top of you with his hand on you and pricking you in the back? Sounds like instead of doing that you built up this whole paranoid situation in your mind and spun yourself out into a severe panic attack. Which is something someone going through a form of psychosis would do.

It's easy not to think about such things in this kind of situation

I imagine he was at a very loud and crowded rave
Not a conducive environment for conversation especially with a man who presumably intends on robbing you or who knows what else

Id say being concerned is highly justifiable

For all you know some dude just pinched you to fuck around. Without a positive toxicology, I wouldn't jump to conclusions too quickly.

Plus a IM injection wouldn't kick in that fast with most drugs I know of. I doubt he hit a vein in the back of your neck.

I've heard of people at Slayer concerts walking around with blades cutting people though.
