american protocal vs. purge
    #2010974 - 10/15/03 10:33 AM (13 years, 4 months ago)

americans are (and anyone can try to challenge me on this absolute statement) zealous about having all kinds of "rights" right to be armed, right to go anywhere, right to have property, right to say whatever they want or beleive what they want, because its their "god given right" as americans "born and bred"
this is femmiliar rhetoric to most canadians who have had dealings with alot of americans that involved infringing upon the "american way" ex. tech support (me) Police, airport people, hospitality workers, parks workers, shippers, military, etc etc.

however, it also feels rather natural, from an outsider standpoint,
to see that american rights are a paradox, so stong is the zeal of right, that it SEEMS that oppressing the rights of others, makes ones own rights seem paramount, this goes WAY back, and is just as potent today as when the first pilgrims landed.

examples of paradigms depicting americans taking the rights of others by force or systematic persecution include (but are nowhere near limited to)
first nations, salem, slavery, north vs south, communisim vs capitalism, terorism (except when it promotes racism ex, KKK, skinheads) recreational drug users,

it is norm in the USA, to be in a state where you are expected to watch your neighbor for a chance to incriminate him for his beleifs or practices, and thus put him in a position where all his rights may be taken away.

people used to keep their eyes out for witches, jews, indians, whiskey-makers, escaped slaves, people who sheltered persona-non-grata, communists, people who opposed military or the government,
people who support diferent political parties, people who recreationally buy and use marijuana (or grow hemp)
and lately the most prominent witch hunt thats leading to the most current hysteria is terrorism, anyone can be a terrorist, it could be your neighbor, it could be your teacher, it could be your son, and because it could be anybody, in the best interest of the people, evryone has lost their rights, the next logical step of course is that finger pointing will begin, as it always has, people will lose their rights, be accused of crimes perhaps evryone commited, lives will be disrupted, and people will become poor and frightened, its already begun, its been against the law (in america) for quite a while to travel to cuba, location of the afghan detainees, assuming they are still living.
canada has never honored the american imposed trade imbargo on cuba, why should we? we dont see cuba as a threat, we havent tried to control them politically and we have worked fair trade codevelopment projects with great sucess with ALL central american countries that the US fears influence from, we reform the maquilla and the sweatshop, or at least we try, but theres always a corperation that will pay for the chepest labor or the cheapest cup of coffee with the most pesticides. Thats what codevelopment is all about, a better world for all people, healthy children, safer products, and a growing economy, globalization the way it should be.
Profit needn't be paramount, it will take care of itself.
corperate america is greedy, and thats why non-corperate grunts live in poverty, because for one difference or another, they've had their rights lifted right out from under them and have nothing they can say or do about it because that could be terrorism. and they don't have enough rights left to be risking any more.
so anyway, back to cuba, americans still visit cuba. but they have to come to canada to do it. there are no departures from america to cuba that civilians can obtain fare for.
aparently, its gone relitively unnoticed for years, but the good old CIA just made it official, action is going to be taken against the canadian people for allowing this break in american homeland security to occur, allowing americans to enter the lair of the enemy and share intelligence, and what a coincidence, the canadian dollar is at an 8-year high, the last time it hit such a high, a farmer decided to report his one BSE cow to the media (i think, or rather declare that i beleive he was paid off to do so and that BSE occurs all over america and is covered up)
the beef industry was crippled and the dollar dropped, but the plan backfired, beef became very cheap in canada, consumer spending went up, farmers suffered, and turned to alternative crops, survived without much federal support and the economy soared, now america wants to close its boarders to canada. we wont sell them our water, we wont give them first dibbs on our oil and natural gas, (so they cant sell it back to us at a crazy price) our lumber isnt as cheap as it used to be, poor america hasnt got the natural resources to support itself and its quickly burning out. its on the verge of revolt, weather the profitable upper-middle class and higher wants to think about it or not, its all going down soon.
the only natural resource is domination, monopoly on war, somehow they have taken the rights of other countries to possess weapons of mass destruction (or substantial military), somehow they are excluded from this ban.
somehow the united nations has become a puppet.
somehow the members of said organization are profiting from being under america and not wasting their rescourses in a pointless opposition.
I say oppose, so america has declared canada an enemy, hmm, i look around and i dont see any danger, but then im an outsider, not an american.
so let them think what they will, try to cripple our economy, raise the borders, shut off the trade, they will exhast themselves untill all they have left is bombs and guns, and i think more of that noise will happen INSIDE america than outside.
it will be a bunch of gasping crazy soldiers standing on the bodies of thousands of civillians that just couldnt stand it anymore, that were more afraid of their government than all the evils their government told them to fear, the crucial flaw in american government is the USA is made of people, not machines.
and people cant be contained by protocol.

when protocol fails, the only option is purge.

real terrorists already know this, they just want to be the ones to make it happen. and they are winning. its too bad america can't reform itself. well it could, but it would require the current ruling class (the so called democratic system) the admit its crimes, and accept punishment for them, accept spiritual responsibility, and become disgustingly poor, like all those hated indigents in jails and slums.

well, theres the primary bulk of todays political rant, and die to time constraints it is also the end for now, thank you, comments welcome, i will reply.
