I don't go through dispensaries for my herb, but have friends that have cards...From what I see, dispensaries are usually higher priced than "street" prices (and by street, I just mean not through a medical dispensary, I don't literally mean some dude on the street corner selling herb).


It seems like prices in dispensaries have gone down over the years, but still not nearly as cheap as what can be found outside of them. $20 for a gram on the point is way over priced, especially in California. $20/gram (usually a couple points over) was the going rate like 7 years ago...the price has steadily gone down over the years and now it's around $5 to $10 a gram for dank legit strains. Ounces go for around $150, give or take. All I ever get for my weekly smoke is a gram though.



Though I can get a variety of strains, hash/concentrates, and edibles....nothing beats the selection of a dispensary, so I guess being able to walk into a place any time and have a large variety of goodies to choose from is somewhat worth paying the higher prices.



But yea...You should not be paying 20/gram in this state and time.
