Well you said it's "okay" but it's one of the best colleges in the world.

I have attended school at UC Santa Barbara and UC Santa Cruz, with friends whom I have visited at Cal State Northridge, UC Los Angeles, University of Southern California, UC San Diego, and UC Berkeley.
I would personally endorse UC Santa Cruz and UC Berkeley for their unique structure which for lack of a better qualitative term is exceptionally "hippie friendly".
UC San Diego is great for an active person who enjoys outdoor sports and the ocean. UC Santa Barbara is a beautiful place as well, though I was in a weird state of mind at that time (freshman year) and for whatever underlying reasons just don't feel right advocating it for the type of person I would envision coming from the Shroomery. Your mileage, may of course vary quite a bit!
Now, for the pictures
UC Berkeley's Greek Theater (where they hold commencement, not to mention tons of great shows):

I might be going to HSU in the fall or sooner. I currently go to the cc a couple miles down the road from it. Great scenery, great bud, and hippie chicks. What more can a guy ask for?
Those are some orgasmic scenes there in SC

haha yea I've had this avatar ever since I joined, found it on google from a "hippie" search.
so is HSU a nice look campus?
is there any/a lot of shitty neighborhoods in arcata and the surrounding towns? I ask because I was checking out houses, and I was suprised at finding a lotttttt of nice 3 bedroom, 2 story, 2+ acre lots for about 1200 to 1700/month rent.. seems like a catch to me, cheap good lookin houses, beautiful scenery, great bud.. I can't wait.

that sounds great! save me some gas money
so is there anything bad to say about humboldt county and the university? everyone I've talked to, including teachers, alumni, and several residents only had good things to say so I've pretty much made up my mind to go, just wondering if there's any drawbacks to such a perfect place..

Well I know for sure I'm going to transfer to a Cali school after two years at Georgia State in Atlanta, and Hum is looking like a nice choice. I do hope to see a Shroomerite there, sir. If I decide to go, you and I will be getting there around the same time....
